Ratings - Chia Ray Gun
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) R99 price and species restricted uselessness leads to this item being a massive skip. Countermeasures (0/5) Light is very easy to destroy with little effort thanks to the Parasol of Unfortunate Demise Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Flask of Liquid Fire. Other Points Final Thoughts Looks like a bottle of mustard. Rated on February 26, 2016 |
Rating: | Overview: The Chia Ray Gun is basically an overpriced Skeletal Fire Gun with icon quantities swapped around. The Good: The icon types are fairly nice. I'm a fan of lighting a fire, as well as the icon types light and fire. As for the art, it seems like a mix of old and new, which I'm liking. The Bad: For being so expensive, the Chia Ray Gun is just too weak, though many of TNT's r99 weapons fall into this category. Still, 8 icons just doesn't cut it anymore in the Battledome. The aforementioned Skeletal Fire Gun I feel would be better than this with its fire icons, but honestly, I'd buy neither of these and just go with a Flask of Liquid Fire. The Flask matches the Chia Ray Gun at minimum, but then shines when you take it into a 2-player. For those stuck on hitting with 5 light, there's the Sun and Moon Chakram outputs a total of 10 icons, 5 being your favorite light type. The Ugly Truth: The Chia Ray gun is a collector's item. It has no place in the Battledome. Rated on January 31, 2014 |
