It seems that Smuggler's Cove may be restocking limited quantities of items again. Historically, stock of items from the Cove is limited to a specific number, so once they finished stocking, they wouldn't stock again unless TNT specifically released more. (For example, only 100 Dr Sloth Plushies stocked, and then no more—exact stock numbers are unknown.)
As of today, we received a report of an item stocking, and a JN staff member was able to personally verify seeing an item stock.
It's unknown exactly how many more of each item will be available, and no official news update has been made by TNT—but we'll update if we learn more.
Also, keep in mind that restocking the Cove too often will get you banned! (You'll see some angry pirates.) So don't visit too often and come prepared with dubloons so you'll be prepared to instantly make a purchase.

That'd be nice if they were planning on adding items. Doesn't even need to be new items--using this as another avenue to drop stupid expensive retired items would be nice.

Let's be realistic, the community might get one or two more Pea-likes into circulation, but most of the time "lucky" refreshers will still just get offered Kougra Brushes.

@elenchus Maybe eventually it will go that route, but right now I've actually seen quite a few different people get an item there, including the better pea-like stuff. So far almost every, if not every item that stocked went to a legit person, not someone botting. It's a refreshing sight.

Too bad the time you wait in-between is random. You can wait ten minutes and still be banned after one refresh. My sister waited forty and was still banned after one. All about luck!

from what I can tell the ban lasts an hour, and I have yet to see anything it sucks when you have a real world job and cant look for things every hour. 
I would love it if they could do something like a pirate hidden tower, though that will never happen. I honestly had my hopes up for finally getting any of the pea items and not gonna happen how is very disappointing.

I keep getting banned after ONE refresh after the hour ban turns off, and waiting an extra 10 min, it makes ZERO sense. why do I get instant bans every freaking time, while others can refresh for hours no trouble.
