TNT expresses their guilt over the lack of weapons in the Advent Calendar!

Today's item represents the first of hopefully multiple weapons added to the Advent Calendar. Last year was a little light on when it comes to weapons, so hopefully this is the first of multiple!
Today's weapon has already been tested as you can see below; and even has a unique ability! "Self Damage Icons"- which can be reflected if you have the ability.
It is nice to see them trying to make something new and different, but you can only get one today so don't wait! Be sure to head on down to the Advent Calendar
today to pick one up; alternatively check out our guide
for more information on other prizes released this year.

Funny to see that last year's advent weapon is still in the "new weapons" sidebar. Also funny to think that a free ~13 icon weapon isn't exactly amazing these days.

might be worth testing to see if the 2 dark icons can be reflected even though they're self-inflicted
I was thinking the same thing Chuckeroo- sad year for battledome.
@mypie_7 - I can confirm that you can indeed reflect/block the self-inflicted dark, since that's exactly what I was able to do during testing.
...maybe all the guilt stems from TNT releasing only 3 weapons this year?
Self-damage, an interesting concept which could provide a "cost" for using a powerful weapon... unfortunately this isn't it. As @chuckeroo777 said, 13-icons aren't as impressive as they once were, especially when the recent Negg Festival released the Void Blade which did 14 icons of similar types and had no self-damage.
I'll give JS points for the concept & kinda cool art (btw, this looks like it should be doing Fire icons instead of Air, would have made it a bit different from the Void Blade), but otherwise this falls short. It needed to do like 20 icons to be worth self-damage (could also up the self-damage to 3 icons); or make it a variable where it has a min/max amount of damage it could do with the self-damage increasing along with it. While its cheap right now, I would suggest saving up for a Void Blade or one of the few other 13+ iconers they've released in recent years.
