In what seems to be a case of someone coming up with a joke at TNT and taking it to whole new extremes- this morning sees us having a new battledome item. The Destruct-o-Match III Destroyer- yeah that isn't a mouthful at all- appears to be a joke towards the surprise nature of this year's daily dare.


The Destruct-o-Match III Destroyer may be earned by gaining 1500 points nad beating AAA in today's game. While this item will be earnable throughout the entire Daily Dare, it is always a good idea to try and do these gaming goals on the day they come out for the bonus prize.

Also it appears we missed posting about another new battledome item.


While the stats were on our site, you may have been wondering where to get it and if it was any good. Well hopefully this post will answer both of those questions. A) it comes from the Staff Tournament Prize Shop and it is exactly as good as you'd expect from a crossbow made out of pencils.

In what perhaps represents a very most egregious violation of Yooyu's working rights we are now introduced to the "Fire Yooyu Torch".


The torch may be purchased for 2000 prize points, and is the only weapon available in the prize shop. This item is described as follows: "That is not a fireball, that's a fire Yooyu resting after a hard day of work!". After a month of painfully being hit twenty four hours a day it is only reasonable to expect them to want to rest.

The most wonderful time of the year has now concluded- leaving us with one final surprise. The Festival of Neggs is now over and with it we have been gifted an (almost) brand new battledome item.


That is right, the long ago found and forgotten Negg Smoke Bomb has finally been officially released on Neopets. Unsurprisingly, current stats do not show the weapon to be anything remarkable, beyond the fact that it is a flawless and perfect negg item anyway.

Today, as Topsi unleashes his chaos all around Neopia, Neopia finds itself with a couple of new weapons today. Firstly, the Pretty Negg Shield (not to be confused with the older Negg Shield) that does a bit more than just shield; I'd say its effect is actually pretty interesting.


As it turns out, the Rotten Negg Soup is a weapon too! Unfortunately, it looks like it's a bit of a stinker...
