The new set of rotational Battledome challengers for Premium subscribers have gone live!

This rotation features Jeran, Garin, the Gigantic Angry Snow Beast, and the Evil Sloth Clone from various plots over the years. Each challenger has a new, unique set of item prizes that are being given out (just like the prior rotation).

Festival of Fears Ending Today
Don't forget to go pick up all your trick-or-treat bags in this year's Festival of Fears event around Neopia. (This is the trick-or-treating event this year!) You have the opportunity to pick up free goodie bags until October 31st at 11:59 PM NST.


Also, the end of the Festival means the end of the bonuses on activities around the Haunted Woods! Notably, this is your last chance to get the recently released Esophagor avatar until next year's avatar. (There's still plenty of opportunity for cheap quests, despite how hard it may sound.)

Site Theme Alert!
On October 31st at 11:59:00pm through 11:59:59pm NST (only a minute!), refreshing anywhere on the Neopets site will get you the elusive Haunted Woods site theme. This is the only time of year you can unlock it for the old site, so don't forget to stay up! This should be available on any Classic site page and redesign page, but if you want to be safe, the homepage is confirmed to award it.

Visit Count Von Roo
To celebrate, Count Von Roo is awake all day long on October 31st, allowing Neopets to play Deadly Dice with him. If you'd like to gamble for a few levels, go for a visit!

Here we go again with another bumper new weapons post- this time almost entirely courtesy of the prize pool shakeup.

First we have the new Illusen's Glade items which currently include;


Which may not seem like much, especially when compared with the offerings from Jhudora's Bluff


Other items we haven't posted about yet include the prizes for beating Vira in the plot, which won't be available again until early next year.


And a prize from the currently ongoing Faerie Festival prize store;


We are still awaiting testing on the newest weapons, so keep watch. There may also be some other items to add to this list yet. For now, don't forget to start questing for the new rewards!

Today, Illusen's Glade and Jhudora's Cloud quests are getting a new double time perk, available for all Premium members and eventually available to anyone who purchases a forthcoming Fortune Cookie. (The cookie is likely to go on sale later this morning, but isn't up at time of writing.)


In short, this perk doubles the amount of time you have to complete either Illusen's or Jhudora's quests, which will be particularly helpful at higher levels that require hunting down an unbuyable item to purchase from someone.

However, it seems that this perk allows you to receive a perfect score of 2,000 for each quest completed, which now leads to the high score tables for these quests being fully pay to win. Hopefully—to give TNT some benefit of the doubt—this is a bug or oversight and not actually intended. Otherwise it's the most brazen P2W update they've made this year.

Lastly, it's been officially announced that new prizes for both of their quests are coming after the Faerie Festival concludes in October!

New Quest Prizes: Look out for updated prize pools with fresh items exclusive to each faerie, including rare collectibles.

Brand-New Battledome Gear: Power up your pets with newly introduced Battledome items, available only through Illusen’s Glade and Jhudora’s Bluff quests after the update.
