Ratings - The Power of Friendship
Rating:
9
This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use.

Price (3/3): Currently one of the cheapest weapons for beginners. It'll be replaced relatively fast, but for most people that can't affort more this will more than do.

Power (5/5): I absolutely hate how severely fractioned this weapon is, not just in icon types but fractional icons themselves. That said, (almost) 13 icons is perfect for early battledome. This is more or less the standard for a weapon nowadays and the next upgrades tend to cost over 10 times this weapons cost when not inflated in price, so most of the time it's worth it. Also since this weapon is exclusively for early 1p the icon types don't really matter much.

Uniqueness (1/2): Bundle of Burning Birch Branches and Poisonous Mushroom Tea are the only near 13 icon multiuse weapons in its price range, so always get whichever one's cheapest.

Overall It's one of the best starting weapons one could ask for. No wonder people in anime always took advantage of this. If you've started then grab 2 of these or their equivalents and start hitting the S750 Kreludan Defender Robot with them until you've trained enough that a weapon upgrade might be worth it. Because of that its final rating is 9/10.

Price/Power (3/5)
Given just how many items have inflated in cost with the current upcoming plot, this is not a horrible item. Just not one I would recommend if you had anything else to use.

Countermeasures (4/5)
Nice spread, should reduce most common blockers. Multiuse is also not something to take for granted.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
I would likely rather something like the Poisonous Mushroom Tea if I was forced to do this; as it has more bulk icons with a less deceptive icon count. That or the Magic Gridlock Gun- which does a better job at making a full spread of icons but is currently rather expensive.

Other Points (1 Reduction)
I hate items that lie about how powerful they are.

Final Thoughts
The power of friendship needs more darkness and physical damage.

Recommended for: Beginner Battlers
Price at Time of Rating: Around 10,000

This weapon was given out during the 2023 Advent Calendar and seems to be a potential teaser for the upcoming plot!

Strengths:
13-ish icons of damage (it looks like 15 but they're fractional) for free/cheap is a great starting point for beginner battlers. On top of that, its diverse icon spread makes it hard to fully block by getting around single-icon blockers and reflectors.

Weaknesses:
Depending on your opponent's shields, doing only 2.6 of each icon type may be a tad weak if their shield has wide icon coverage.

Alternatives:
This weapon is similar in power to Bundle of Burning Birch Branches and Poisonous Mushroom Tea, which each attack with 3 icon types and are recommended for beginners. So if you got this weapon for free, then great! And if not, choose whichever of these three 13-ish icon weapons is currently the cheapest.

Keep an eye on our Weapon Recommendations: Beginner article for the most updated list of beginner weapon alternatives!

Notes:
This weapon is brand new at the time of rating and its price will be in flux. I may adjust the rating depending on how the price settles in comparison to its alternatives.
