Value 3/3: The current standard to beat for icons/cost is now Kelpbeards Trident, and this falls a little short, but it's still the best way to get mass fire.

Tactical 5/6: Mass fire is very difficult to block in the battledome right now, and the Sword of Reif delivers mass fire. The existence of the Clawed Shield (and recently, A Shovel from the Obelisk War) give your opponents some options for defense, but there aren't many.

Other 1/1: This weapon looks great, performs a unique function in the dome, and is going to be worth a small fortune if it ever retires.

Conclusion: The anagram of choice for most battlers in the high tiers today. You should strive to own one.

Price/Power (5/5)
This level of power is about the best you can hope for without increasing your expenditure significantly. While you can get the Kelpbeards Trident cheaper, the price to power ratio of this is still brilliant.

Countermeasures (5/5)
Fire icons are the hardest to block, making currently the best of the swords.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
Any of the other anagram swords offer the same level of power, you could also look into the Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy or Kelpbeards Trident for a more economical option.

Other Points (No Bonus)

Final Thoughts
I would be careful about how you store this weapon...

Power: 4/5
One of the anagram swords with their amazing power, yet Kelpbeards Trident still packs the same punch for less money.

Counters: 3/3
Fire is still essentially the hardest icon type to block, so let's go through your options.

Reflecting a big bunch of the fire is fairly possible with Clawed Shield or Flame Reflectozap, however timing reflections is very tricky - if you get it right this will certainly turn the tides in your favour, but timed wrong does quite the opposite. In the mono-icon anagram era this is quite a gamble and it's up to you whether or not to take that risk (plus you have to know you'll encounter fire to begin with).
Note that a similar statement applies to Frozen Cyodrake Shield as it leaves you highly vulnerable against everything except fire.

So let's check the full armours:
The fire completely pierces through Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield, Ghostkershield and Dr. Sloths Personal Body Armour and Faerie Tabard only blocks a mere 5 fire.

The only thing you really have to be afraid of is Rod of Dark Nova, but it's very unlikely you'll encounter one of those due to it's astronomical price tag.

Yet, there is one option that you may encounter: Slippery Floor Potion - being a single use item it's kind of tedious to use, but it's absurdly cheap, so be aware.

Uniqueness: 1/1
If you want to go for mass fire, this is the weapon of choice. It's the only one packing more than 10 fire in one weapon and even has a nice amount of physical to come with it.

Bonus: 1/1
Some people just want to see the world burn...

1P 5/10: One of the new anagram swords averaging 18 icons, there is little practical reason to choose SoReif as a 1P weapon over Kelpbeards Trident. It is a viable KBT alternative but I cannot recommend it for 1P.
2P 9/10: Fire is a difficult icon to deal with in 2P, despite being blocked by Burrow, Sink, and Quench. None of the common shields fully block it, and Ghostkershield and Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield both lack any fire defence. If you force your opponent to defend against Fire, you can take advantage of their vulnerabilities using other weapons. It is less effective against scorchios though, losing 4.5 icons. Although I dislike the release of new anagrams, this sword is strongly recommended as a staple in modern HT level sets.

Sword of Reif may just be the best of the Anagram Swords. 15 Fire icons is nothing to scoff at, seeing how Portable Kiln used to find its way into upper tier sets during the pre-Anagram era, despite only dealing 11 total icons.

Mass Fire is exceptionally difficult to defend against. This is largely thanks to the relative lack of high end Fire defense. Frozen Cyodrake Shield is the only Multiple Use Fire Full-Blocker that most players can obtain. (Rod of Dark Nova is an option to the super rich, and Slippery Floor Potion also works, although it is only a Single Use.) The downside to Frozen Cyodrake Shield is that it offers very little coverage across other icon types, and in today's pro-Anagram environment, it is easy to work around Frozen Cyodrake Shield with a different Anagram Sword.

A similar statement applies to Clawed Shield and Flame Reflectozap; successfully counteracting a Sword of Reif with one of these reflectors can change the tide of a battle, but mistiming a reflector can change the tide to be unfavorable just as easily.

Faerie Abilities are really the best way to stop Fire, with Burrow, Sink, and the Power-efficient Quench all capable of stopping a Fire attack. Unfortunately, Faerie Abilities are precious and finite, and sooner or later most battlers will be prone to getting burned. And there is no better way to inflict Fire damage as of now than with a Sword of Reif.
