At a Glance (3/3):
Unleash the power of the ancient lupes to freeze your opponent in their tracks for one turn! This freeze never misses.

In-Depth (2/4):
There's really not much to this item. Use it one turn, obliterate your opponent on the next. The best time to use it is when you can finish off your opponent in one turn. There isn't really much of a way to counter it, other than using a 100% freezer of your own.

Price (1/2):
This freezer is a godsend among freezers, only costing a mere 10k. However, this loses a point because of the two stipulations it requires:

1) Your pet needs to be a lupe.

2) It has a 1/8th chance to break.

Granted, the break chance is rather forgiving, and in the event that it does break, you will still get the freeze for the battle, and you can just simply purchase another one. But it might get rather costly if this is used lavishly, so save it for those important battles where you need the freeze to secure the KO.

The non-fragile, non-pet based equivelant is H4000 Helmet.

Bonus (1/1):
I remember fondly using this wand for my own lupe. Strange how an ancient artifact can supersede its successor, Lupe Wand in durability and price. Plus, this looks 10x more awesome than a stick with a sparkly lupe head on it. What is this, Lord of the Chias or something?

Ancient Lupe Wand is a cheaper alternative to Scroll of Freezing for Lupes only.

This weapon can be found for 20k-30k; quite a bit cheaper than alternative disposable 100% freezers. This price is not cheap, but it does make life easier on low-budget Lupe battlers.

Disposable 100% freezers should always be used sparingly, but for important battles they are fantastic for those on a short budget.

Although we are long past the days of Iron Lupe Sword, Ancient Lupe Wand ensures that Lupes are still a good species for battling.

Price/Power (5/5)
Is always much cheaper then a Scroll of Freezing, and less likely to break then a normal Lupe Wand. At the 100% level we are talking about it being pretty much as useful to you as a H4000 Helmet if you own a lupe.

Countermeasures (4/5)
This item is awesome in that in 2P chances are the user who steals this from you will be unable to use it. Besides this, freezing is a great tactical advantage and currently is unblockable (though be wary of people freezing the same turn as you).

Alternatives, Upgrades or Downgrades
Depending on which is cheaper you may consider the normal Lupe Wand instead. You can go for a Randomly Firing Freeze Ray if you need your freezer to stick around a little longer, but the chance to fail may be too high when coming from a 100% freezer like one of the Lupe Wands.

Other Points (None)
A great species weapon and one of the few of it's class.

Final Thoughts
This wand is more stable then you would expect and is well worth a place in any lupe's arsenal.

Perhaps the best reason to own a Lupe as a battle pet, it guarantees a freeze in every use, delivering the same power as common 100% freezers like H4000 Helmet and its species only counterparts like Golden Peophin Harp, Entangling Lenny Lasso and Icy Chia Goggles For less than 15k a piece at the time of this writing, is a bargain for the power it delivers!

Because it is a species weapon, it also reduces the chances of it being used against you, but since most battlers would use a freezer at the beginning of the battle, it doesn't make too much of a difference in this case.

The catch is, much like the Scroll of Freezing, it can break permanently after a few uses. Fortunately however, its breaking rate is lower, thus giving you the chance to add a few more uses into it.

Also, although the Randomly Firing Freeze Ray may be a popular bet among the budgeted battlers, the recent change in the ability to withdraw from fights may pull its popularity down, and push the need for guaranteed freezers up the market.
