Ratings - Frozen Wand of Crystals
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) Realistically given the amount of icons items provide these days, this is not enough pure attack. You know I am not much of a dual duty fan so I can't imagine you being surprised. Countermeasures (1/5) Killed by multiple commonly used items including the Wanderers Cloak and Lair Beast Tooth Shield Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Forgo the water defense and get yourself a Scroll of Ultranova or Golden Compass instead. Other Points Final Thoughts This wand does look pretty at least, I mean, can you imagine the sparkles? Rated on February 26, 2016 |
Rating: Rating History ▼ | Price/power (0/5): Too expensive for what it does. It doesn't even do the full 8 icons, and you can get 9-iconers for less than 1/20th the price of this. Not to mention that the Oversized Maractite Rune Sword is also cheap enough. Tactical (4/5): Dual duties are always nice and water defense isn't that easy to come by if you don't use Leaf Shield, Virtupets X-514 Super Shield, or Shiny Shoal Shell Shield. This has the same attacking icon types as Golden Compass, which is very hard to block at this level. Pair them together and you'll overwhelm nearly every shield. Just watch out for Parasol of Unfortunate Demise though. Bonus (0/1): This is starting to feel like a relic from the past. Its high price really doesn't help. Closing remarks: You don't see many of these because they don't do enough damage, and certainly not for the price you pay. It's essentially one of those overpriced antiques that somehow still have situational uses. Rated on December 9, 2012. Updated February 28, 2013 |
