Ratings - Umbrella Shield
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) The cove seems to love making horribly expensive and weak 100% water blockers... This one is no different with only 4.4-8 icons of extra defense. Countermeasures (0/5) Getting past the water defense is as simple as changing weapon, and the rest of the icons just aren't bulky enough to hold back the tide like you would need. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades There are many alternatives, the cheap Enchanted Kiko Squeeze Toy for one, the Faerie Tabard for another. While water is commonly used as an icon type thanks to the Kelpbeards trident and the {{Dr Sloths Personal Bath Buddy}} there is just no reason to justify the extra spending on a weaker item. Other Points (1 Bonus) Had to, cove item, yada yada- Final Thoughts Well at least this umbrella looks good for walking in the rain- as for storms I am not so sure... looks like a giant lightning rod! Rating: | Price/power (0/5): Extremely rare and therefore expensive. Better and cheaper alternatives exist, such as Faerie Tabard. Tactical (1/5): Unlike the similar Parasol of Unfortunate Demise, this umbrella does not pair well with the usual high-level shields (i.e. Faerie Tabard, Ghostkershield, Dr. Sloths Personal Body Armour, and Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield), making it quite pointless. Bonus (1/1): Who would have thought that many years later, there would be a variation on this umbrella that blocks all light instead? Closing remarks: Get yourself a modern shield, not an ancient relic. Rated on March 27, 2013 |
