Ratings - Super U-Bend
|This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Since most reflectors do basically the same, the reviews will be mostly identical.|
Price (2/3): It's dirt cheap, but only worth it if you're going to use it against a plot boss.
Power (1/5): at best you'll reflect half of your opponent's attack and come to a stalemate. At worst... you'll waste a weapon slot and receive full damage. Too much of a gamble except for a few situations.
Uniqueness (0/2): Like I said, percentage reflectors are not unique at all.
Overall It's what you'd expect. It's only good for certain situations where you know your enemy WILL use the icon type in mass. Because of that its final rating is 3/10.

At a Glance (1/3):
You and your opponent are taking half the damage your opponent throws at you AT BEST, if and ONLY if your opponent ONLY uses water. Pretty risky to use for such mediocre reward. And then there's the off chance that it might break..
Like light and dark, there isn't really much of a metagame to use this to for water. You only need to use this against Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy, Kelpbeards Trident, and Sword of Tawre. Additionally, the ever-so-popular Faerie Tabard will forever keep water in check since U-bend of Great Justice had been retired.
In 1-player battling, however, this weapon starts to get a bit of a shine, being useful against opponents utilizing heavy water such as the Snowbeast. Not as much as before now since withdrawing will count as a loss, because, unlike Mega U-bend and UBoGJ, this U-bend (in tandem with Prickly Potion, Double Dryer, a freezer, and a bomb}} required the 1p opponent to use specific weapons in their moveset in a specific order in order to secure the victory. That being said, withdrawing was vital to one's success.
Anyways, the way you use it is to predict when your opponent will use SoTawre (or two weapons that have a lot of water in it), then that's when you use Super U-bend and another weapon that either attacks or blocks the remaining damage you take, thereby putting you in the lead for that round.
It's that simple. Not easy to actually execute, but it's better than taking huge amounts of water to the face without an answer for it.
Currently priced at ~2k. The aforementioned Mega U-Bend,...

Another weak reflector, there are better uses of your item slot.
It can break, and you can always just stop using a water weapon.
Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
U-Bend of Great Justice was the best water reflector, unfortunately its price has skyrocketed since retiring. The Enchanted Kiko Squeeze Toy also provides a good deal of water defense if needed and is much cheaper then the aforementioned upgrade.
Other Points (1 Bonus)
Splish splash i'm taking a bath *drops in U-bend* OH NO, NOW MY BATHROOM IS DRENCHED. ...yeah I'm just going to stop now.
