Ratings - Iceray Bracelet
Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Price(0/3): Completely worthless. Any neopoint spent on this item would be a waste, so it doesn't matter if it were dirt-cheap. Power(0/5): The amount of icons this weapon does is too low for today's battledome. Even at its best it wouldn't be able to deal enough damage, making it completely worthless since your opponent would out-damage you every time. Icon types don't really matter when the damage output is this low, so even if it had the best icon types this would be useless. To makes things worse this weapon has fractioned icons, so it wouldn't even do the damage you'd think it does at first glance, while it barely defends against any icons, defeating the purpose of a dual duty. It'd be better to focus on either attack or defence instead of splitting total icons like this. Uniqueness(0/2): Dual duties should compromise a bit of attacking power for extra defence or the other way around. This, like many others, is just underpowered. Overall it's just your average underpowered, useless item. Nothing worth checking out here. Because of that its final rating is 0/10. I can't give a rating of 0 however, so it gets a shameful 1 instead. Rated on August 31, 2020 |
Rating: | At a Glance (0/3): This weapon packs a whopping ~4.167 offense on average, and an incredible 4 icon defense! Wow! So amazing! In-Depth (1/4): Ok, so as you can tell, this weapon is by no means strong or tactical or otherwise impressive. But, little do most battlers know, it shares an ability alongside the great Skarls Amulet: it blocks both regular damage and reflected damage! Not only that, but if I remember correctly, it also had this effect of "spreading" the ability to other shields/dual duties. Meaning, if your opponent, say, uses Glowing Cauldron while you use this plus Faerie Tabard, you will block 7 fire icons no matter what (whether or not GC becomes unblockable)! Price (2/2): Less than 1k currently. No reason not to pick one up and toss into the ol' Safety Deposit Box in case you *actually* find need for it. Bonus (0/1): It's still weak, but, hey, it's nice to know that you have a cheap, easy-to-obtain alternative to Skarls Ammy. Only incredibly creative battlers can hope to make something out of this. Will that be you? Rated on September 23, 2013 |
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) 1.5-3 icons is really bad attack wise, and the defense? Minimal. Countermeasures (0/5) Very easy to cut through due to the tiny amount of icons. Another miss! Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades A Scarab Ring is a better dual duty, Scroll of Knowledge for power.. Other Points (1 Bonus) Final Thoughts Shame there are no ice attacks on neopets or this would be a 10! (*cough) Rated on February 17, 2013 |
