Rating: | Price/Power (1/5) Anything under 10 icons which doesn't do anything special is a little concerning. Certainly not worth my precious points! Countermeasures (1/5) Interesting combination of icons- likely not enough pushing power with each individual one however. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Price wise this is hard to beat- but there are loads of other items which provide the same or greater icon numbers. Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer has already been mentioned and for good reason Other Points Final Thoughts I suppose we really shouldn't expect too much from a crossbow the size of a cooty. Rating: | First off, it's a cool design, and maybe it has some utility down the road for a gallery or something. On the downside, it's underpowered for today's day and age. In 2001 or 2002 this might well have been worth a hundred thousand neopoints, but now it's solely got collectors value. the icon typing is pretty cool, but not particularly effective. Rating: | The most interesting part about this weapon was that it was marked as a food item for a brief period after release. I tested it, and then fed it to my Aisha; it gets one pity point for the laugh it warranted. Unfortunately, this isn't really all that viable anywhere. Power: In 1P, it's weaker than Scroll of Ultranova, so I don't consider it worth the time... In 2P... I mean, you *could* use this in 9 icon L54, but do you really want to do that when Greater Air Potion, Greater Water Potion and Frozen Water Daggers are so popular? I guess you could do worse, but 3-type constants with no defensive utility are a hard sell. Price: Admittedly, it's really cheap. The only problem is that Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer is even cheaper for the same power, and Scroll of Ultranova is not much more expensive while dealing 9.8 icons instead of only 9. Conclusion: You can use this if you really want, but there are better options, like Scroll of Ultranova or Poisonous Mushroom Tea, that aren't that much more expensive. I have faith in your ability to save up for them. ...and I'm not kidding; I really did feed mine to my Aisha after testing it. It's more useful in her belly than in the Battledome anyway.
