Overview:
The Molten Boulder is a weapon that was released from the 2017 Daily Dare. It's somewhat comparable to the Bowling Ball of Lost Cities released a year later, having a hefty clump of variable icons. How does it hold up now?

Accessibility: 2/4
It's fairly cheap, as is tradition with Daily Dare stuff. But it's been supplanted by more recent weaponry.

Viability: 2/5
13 icons isn't bad for this price range, I'll admit. If its competition becomes infeasible to obtain, as unlikely as it is, this could make a solid comeback.

Alternatives:
The Omelette Sceptre can be obtained for free and does the same amount of icons as this, only it's all fire and has multiheal. Void Needle is about the same price, but does one icon more.

Final notes:
This weapon honestly pleasantly surprised me. It's not the most preferrable option of today, but it's hardly a bad option, either.

13 icons is really solid, 13 icons of rotating damage is ALSO very solid. Add in the fact that this item was the release day daily dare prize and thus should have decent supply and you have a pretty good all rounder here.

Countermeasures (3/5)
The only downside of this item is the Physical, but it is as if it knows that fact and uses physical to cut down just how good an alternating fire/air attack combo is. Unless someone is sporting a Faerie Tabard, this combo is rather tough. Only the Solar Flare Shield and Royal Blue Cape is able to really get that cutting blow on this item. It is also the reason the score isn't as high as it otherwise would be.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
The Flask of Liquid Fire still barely edges out here against this, at least if you are aiming for fire. It does however offer a massive level of power in pure icons, 13 icons is plot level, this joins the Yooyu Knuckle Duster as being an item which provides insane levels of icons for cheap.
