Ratings - Jhudoras Vile Vial
This is one of those 2-Player based weapons which give a variable attack based on intelligence. While on the surface that can seem very good, the attack just doesn't live up when compared to awesome offerings in this area like the Flask of Liquid Fire.
Blocked entirely by the cheap and popular Kiko Skull Pirate Hat.

Other Points (1 Bonus)
Even with further testing I highly doubt this weapon will be any better..

|Overview: Creepy vile? Check. Have to use it on another Neopet? Check. Evil? Double Check!|
The Good: The Vile Vial isn't nearly as disappointing as the Rancid Faerie Potion. The two-icon spread actually makes this useful when it hits for a nice 10 icons in 2-player battles. The rarity of 97 should mean that Jhudoras Vile Vial will eventually come down to a somewhat affordable price.
The Bad: The Vile's sister potion, the Jittery Jipple Pear Potion, is probably a tad bit better. Water tends to be the first thing that someone gathers defense for in the Battledome, meaning the likelihood of someone hiding behind a shield is high. Furthermore, at max the Vile is still limited to only 10 icons. In this case it's be better to pick up a full-time 10-icon weapons like Sun and Moon Chakram, which should be cheaper than the Vile Vial for quite some time.
The Ugly Truth: In a set reliant on a Jittery Jipple Pear Potion, Jhudoras Vile Vial might be a viable replacement. Otherwise, it'd be a good idea to buy a weapon that can do 10 icons full-time, which would actually be useful in single player Battledome.

Jhudoras Vile Vial is a new weapon in Royal Potionery that at a glance appears to have some L97 potential. Although currently unbuyable due to its newness, this weapon is only rarity-97, meaning plenty should restock in due time. Also, low-rarity Royal Potions tend to find themselves in various prize pools; I won't be surprised if this item becomes dirt cheap in the future one way or another.
Like many Royal Potions, Jhudoras Vile Vial relies on the opponent's intelligence stat for its optimal attack. At the time of this review, we do not know the exact intelligence marker, but if consistent with other Royal Potions, the marker shouldn't be anything extraordinary. Remember that 1-Player opponents have a null intelligent stat, meaning Royal Potions like this one have no place in a 1-Player battle. This potion is strictly a 2-Player weapon, provided the opponent has the necessary intelligence for the potion's optimal effect.
Jhudoras Vile Vial deals 5 Water and 5 Dark icons against smart Neopets, making it awfully similar to Jittery Jipple Pear Potion. In terms of a Dark/Water combo in L97, Fungus Ray might be the closest pre-exsisting fit.
How could a Dark/Water weapon come in handy in L97? A Jhudoras Vile Vial can break through both Pirate Captains Hat and Frozen Cyodrake Shield. Although Jittery Jipple Pear Potion slides through the first, it does not for the latter. For breaking through these two pesky shields, L97ers could also consider Wraith Scroll. Additionally, Jhudoras Vile Vial dodges the endless barrage of Light-blocking dual duties in the league.
Of course, despite this niche, Jhudora...

|Price/power (0/5): Somewhat better than the Rancid Faerie Potion, but that's not saying much. Still too expensive to be worthwhile.|
Tactical (1/5): Somewhat vulnerable to the Underwater Oven Gloves, but not too bad otherwise. There are serious problems with this weapon though: aside from the price, the intelligence requirements seems to be a problem and it's outclassed by the Flask of Liquid Fire, which punches through every shield and dual duty at this level.
Bonus (1/1): Could potentially be useful if it were cheaper, due to the icons being concentrated in two types.
Closing remarks: Get a Flask of Liquid Fire or upgrade to Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy.
