Rating: | Price/Power (3/5) The price of this item has now dropped to the same level as the Fitted Velvet Cloak, making it much better then it was new. Countermeasures (2/5) Water and air is a rare combination to block, so this is a good deal.. but 10 icons may not be enough for you to use this all the time. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades The Leaf Shield is an upgrade while the Fitted Velvet Cloak could act as an alternative. Other Points Final Thoughts Good to see these items going down in price. Rating: | Price/power (0/5): Extremely overpriced due to it being a new item. Get the Fitted Velvet Cloak in the meantime. Tactical (2/5): Like the Earthen Scorchstone, this is a highly situational item. Incidentally, the icon combination blocked here is very uncommon, only seen in the Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield and Kaylas Magic Cloak. Bonus (1/1): Perhaps this will make the Fitted Velvet Cloak cheaper, since there are now two items at this level that block these icons. Closing remarks: For now, get the Fitted Velvet Cloak if you want to block these particular icons. Otherwise, stick with the Shiny Shoal Shell Shield. Rated on August 31, 2013 |
