Countermeasures (1/5)
The idea of an item like this is to avoid providing a predictable attacks. In theory it stops people from blocking most of your attacks- in practise it doesn't provide enough icons for the goal. People are often getting well spread items to deal with items like the Scroll of the Scholar

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
If you have enough for this- you have enough for either the Sword of Reif or Sword of Ari. If you really want a decent unpredictable attack though you should get the Glittery Faerie Dust. It is slightly weaker then most items but is rather impossible to block.

I would honestly rather keep the marbles. They look cool

Price/power (0/5): Very, very expensive for what it does. Not to mention that there's a potential for the marbles to do nothing at all.

Tactical (1/5): Having an icon spread is nice, but there needs to be enough total icons to make it worthwhile. Not to mention that spreading the attack across 6 different icons makes it extremely likely for at least one type to be blocked. Or in this case, fully blocked.

Bonus (0/1): Even before this was retired, it wasn't considered a good weapon to be using.

Closing remarks: If you like having your attack spread across a wide range of types, get a Scroll of Knowledge. For something more powerful, Ylanas Blaster or Brynns Legendary Sword of Wraith Smiting will also do the trick.
