Rating: | Power (0/4): 10 icons is not enough to recommend to beginners, unfortunately. Price (1/4): It is cheap (and it makes sense why it's cheap), but nothing that you should be going out of your way to buy (or use), honestly. Other (0/2): TNT decided to release this on the same wave of items where we got Brambled Lance... Why? Rating: | Overview: The Scale Spear is another one of the many, many weapons that drop from The Void Within opponents. Thankfully, this is a little better than most of its kind. A little. Accessibility: 1/4 I mean... at least it's decently cheap? If you don't have enough for a better weapon somehow, then this could be theoretically useful. Viability: 0/5 But then again, 10 icons is pretty weak. Another spear weapon, my old, outdated friend Multi Barbed Ice Spear does an extra icon for a similar price. That doesn't paint the best picture for it. Alternatives: You can get an extra four icons from the Void Needle for not much more expensive. Bonus points: None provided. Rating: | Price/Power (3/5) Look, it isn't horrible; it's cheap and likely free to you. But like, is it better than what you already have? Likely not. Countermeasures (2/5) 10 icons is- not as good as it could be. But eh, it is something. A dark based weapon is likely to be taken down by several common dark blockers; so be careful if you end up facing that. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades All of the really highly rated items in this class either do something else like Hanso Charisma Charm or Snowager Pendant- which both offer defense too, or even cheaper options like the Scroll of Knowledge....
