Ratings - Rancid Faerie Potion
Rating: | Overview: This does 6-10 total icons (2 water, 2-4 air, & 2-4 dark) in multi-player battles & only a flat 6 icons in single player battles. Bonus points: I'm giving this 1 bonus point for the fact that it has a cool design & can occasional hit for double figure icons in 2-player battles. Conclusion: You shouldn't be using this item. There are a plethora of better items for a lot cheaper. This item currently costs around 30k, which is insane for how weak this is. Get yourself any one of the scroll's, or a Turned Tooth if you don't mind spending a little more nps for a vastly superior multi-use weapon. Rated on December 3, 2019 |
Rating: | Overview: Just like Jhudora's quests, this weapon looks promising, but just leaves you frustrated. The Good: Here's another weapon that encourages 2-player battling. The icon spread isn't bad, but really for a weaker weapon like this, it should be limited to two icon types like its sister, the Jittery Jipple Pear Potion. The Bad: The Rancid Faerie Potion can't really be used in single player battling. 6 icons is worthless, especially when you've only got two of each icon type. Really, the only intelligence-dependent potions that should be seriously considered are Flask of Liquid Fire and Flask of Liquid Light. The Ugly Truth: As much as I'd love to give this a good rating for my infatuation with all things Jhudora, the potion is mediocre and disappointing for a new weapon. Rated on February 28, 2014 |
Rating: | Price/power (0/5): Up to 10 icons and terribly expensive. Tactical (0/5): At full power this will get at least 2 icons through most shields, but there are much better options out there, such as the Flask of Liquid Fire and similar potions. Bonus (1/1): It really is a nice-looking bottle. Closing remarks: Get a Flask of Liquid Fire. Under the right conditions, it is the cheapest 14-iconer out there--obscenely so, in my opinion.
