Ratings - 9 Pound Coconut
Price/power (0/5): Cove items tend to be expensive, and some of them are extremely overpriced. This is one such item.
Tactical (0/5): You're better off getting a Sword of Tawre or Kelpbeards Trident instead. Even Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy is more powerful than this coconut.
Bonus (1/1): Only because I can't give it a 0.
Closing remarks: Get one of the aforementioned weapons, depending on how much NP you want to spend. If you're extremely rich, get one of the Attack Peas or Grapes of Wrath.

It is a cove item, so it is restrictively expensive. This may not matter as much if the item itself actually had the power to back itself up but when you consider the other options out there...?
Water is pretty easy to block with the Faerie Tabard and Enchanted Kiko Squeeze Toy cutting this down to basically nothing.
Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
If you want to use water you have a TON of other options, the cheap Maractite Battle Duck and Kelpbeards Trident lead the way for the Sword of Tawre and all make up a better weapon choices then this. If you want to move away from water a Sword of Reif is a ton better as it provides fire.
Other Points (2 Bonus)
One for being a retired cove item, one for being a coconut.
I would want one of these to fall on my head, if only so I could sell it and roll in the millions it provided.

Well, this weapon can be best remembered for having a very, very short stint of relevance.
Prior to the release of 9 Pound Coconut, we had the Maractite Battle Duck as the strongest Water weapon, stocking for a hefty 9 million NP in the Hidden Tower. Despite the mono-icons, only 10 icons for 9 million NP was not at all popular, especially when Portable Kiln boasted the same Ghostkershield-shattering ability for a much lower price.
This Coconut is essentially a Maractite Battle Duck with 3 Physical icons to top it off, which is not bad until you consider that this is a Cove weapon. The price tag, even at the initial release, was equally ridiculous as that of Maractite Battle Duck.
Fortunately, we received Kelpbeards Trident less than 2 months after the release of 9 Pound Coconut. Kelpbeards Trident offers substantially more Water and Physical icons for a significantly lower price. Flash forward to the present and we have Sword of Tawre as another alternative to 9 Pound Coconut.
9 Pound Coconut is a nice item for a gallery, but is inferior to Water-heavy weaponry found in the Hidden Tower.

A weapon that's a coconut with 9 pounds of coconut juice? Sorry, I like my tropical mocktail better. It even has a tiny umbrella to go along with it. So cute... :P
Kelpbeards Trident makes this laughable, Faerie Tabard makes this annoying and Tiki Tack Man makes me wanna throw this to his face (Stop giving me useless bottles of sand, fool! *angry*).
Them pirates must have picked it up when it washes up the Forgotten Shore. Not worth the money, dubloons, time, effort or hula dance. NEXT!
*Great against: The Tiki Tack Man (When he's taking his afternoon siesta)
Beware if against: Peophins, Tuskaninny, Bruce, Michael Phelps
(Species ability ratings, except Micael Phelps, subject to change pending the Battledome's full update)
