Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) R99 price tag means this otherwise "not 100% terrible" item is not worth using. Countermeasures (2/5) It can destroy multiple commonly used weapons including the Scroll of Ultranova, Golden Compass and Solar Burrito. But due to not having a massive spread, can't do much else. Rating: | Ornate Violet Cloak happens to be the best Brightvale Armour with 'Ornate' in its name, but that's not saying much. At R99, Ornate Violet Cloak is far too expensive for battle use. In addition, fellow Brightvale Armour Royal Blue Cape offers the same coverage plus Earth defense. Wanderers Cloak offers similar defense with Water and Earth defense tacked on. Rating: | Price/power (0/5): Way too expensive for what it does. Tactical (2/5): The icon combination is very rare in a shield. It's basically made to counter the likes of Golden Compass. However, the fact that it only blocks 9 icons prevents it from being worthwhile. Bonus (0/1): If this was a lot cheaper, and if it blocked 3 more icons, it would be much better. Closing remarks: The Royal Blue Cape does all of this and more. Alternatively, try Sophies Magic Hat, Studded Leather Cuirass, Shiny Shoal Shell Shield, or the classic Leaf Shield.
