Rating: | Price/Power (3/5) The price is starting to slowly come down again from unbuyable- but it still isn't back at the 25-30k price point that it once was. Countermeasures (3/5) 50 hp IS good- but not great. With training being so much cheaper now there is little value in a small 50hp heal- but at least it will always be better then the Lesser Healing Scroll Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades The Rejuvenating Jar of Brains- but it is far too expensive. Also once you reach a certain point you might as well upgrade to a percentage healer such as a Bag of Healing Dust Other Points Final Thoughts A great item that has long fallen from grace, but may be starting to see the light of day once more. Rating: | Overview: This basic healer ends up being the healing element of many mid-to-low-tier battlers, as it heals well for the price. The Good: A big advantage of this healer, as mentioned above, is price. 50hp is a decent chunk of healing given your pet is under 200hp, and for around 150k you really can't do better. When you consider that the next upgrade to this (Rejuvenating Jar of Brains) heals only 10hp more, but jumps up an extra 100k, the value of the Greater Healing Scroll really comes into focus. The Bad: First of all, this shouldn't be an end goal healer at any level. Despite the good price, any serious battler needs to consider the eventual upgrade to either Rejuvenating Jar of Brains or Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic. Secondly, Scroll art is tiresome. If this is your first decent healing item, there's a good chance Scroll of Knowledge or Scroll of Ultranova have made their way to help fill your set. Maybe I'm alone on this, but I really hate seeing multiple scrolls in my lineup. The Ugly Truth: This is a good healer considering the price, even if the art is blah. Rated on September 27, 2013 |

Rating: | At a Glance (2/3): Heals your pet up to 50 hp. Once per battle. In-Depth (2/4): Getting the best healer for your pet is essential, as it will effectively increase the time your pet stays alive. This scroll was the best, economic, choice for many pets for quite a while until Rejuvenating Jar of Brains came along. It still pretty much is - it only heals 10 hp less than the jar of dirt- I mean, brains. Price (1/2): The price is pretty good, occasionally spiking to meet demands whenever battledome plots take place. It currently goes for ~200k or less, which is 70k cheaper than what the brains are going for currently. Bonus (0/1): It really is the most powerful healing scroll of them all! Too bad for it that it isn't the most powerful healer of them all. Still a good economic choice if you don't feel like grabbing the jar of brains yet. Final Score: 5/10 Rated on September 23, 2013 |
