Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Price (1/3): not extremely expensive, but not dirt cheap either, and it's not worth it even at that low price. Power (0/5): sub 13 icons isn't that good nowadays, and you have the chance to do even less at 7.5, while both icons are extremely easy to block. If this had as many constant icons as Yooyu Knuckle Duster then this would be good, but as it is you'd be better getting the previously mentioned duster. Uniqueness (0/2): light and physical are extremely common, and the icon amount is too. Overall it's a pretty big disappointment. Playing Neoquest II 3 times and getting this prize must be a heartbreak, but honestly nowadays no neoquest prize is worth that. Because of that its final rating is 1/10. Rated on June 30, 2019 |
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) I will admit it, I never was a fan of this item to begin with. However finally I feel the need to say that thanks to the release of the Yooyu Knuckle Duster. This item provides a tiny attack which is easily blocked and does not even always attack at full potential. Countermeasures (0/5) Thanks to the fact that the Parasol of Unfortunate Demise is insanely cheap these days- using light is rarely a good option to take. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Yooyu Knuckle Duster. Other Points Final Thoughts I can imagine being rather unexcited if I won this from Neoquest. It doesn't even LOOK that mighty! Rating: Rating History ▼ | At a Glance (1/3): Hits on average ~9.75 icons of total damage. 7 of light, 2.75 of physical. In-Depth (2/4): ~9.75 icons isn't really all that strong, but it makes for a pseudo-mass light attacker, with the majority of the damage in light. Stacking light (and physical, to an extent) is what you would want to use this staff for. Weapons like Ramtors Spellbook/Ring of the Sway, Solar Burrito, and Energy Blaster are good to combo with. Price (0/2): The price oddly enough seems to fluctuate between ~150k-400k if I recall correctly. At the moment, it's ~500k, so I would avoid grabbing these for now An alternative to this is Scuzzys Comb, which boasts 5 light and 5 physical instead of 7 light and random physical, and costs much, much less. Bonus (1/1): Some insane difficulty prize... Velm was a HEALER, not a fighter! This staff should be a multihealer or something... However, it might really shine if it is used in League 97 battles, where constants usually go from 10-11 icons of damage. The lack of Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield and other light defenders also makes using this easier. Final Score: 4/10 Rated on September 30, 2013. Updated January 30, 2015 |
