Countermeasures (0/5) I do like that it is bulk earth/dark icons- but given just how many items that block dark have now been deflated including the Hanso Charisma Charm and the Illusens Staff (which may I add is better than this for only double the cost). Eh. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades As stated above; But honestly the Void Blade or Roxtons Trusty Bowie Knife or any number of weapons with a higher base damage and/or some dual purpose is likely worth looking at first. Rating: | Like all members of the Battle Dung family, Starry Battle Dung has found a niche in League 97 play. Starry Battle Dung deals a total of 11 icons, 6 of Earth and 5 of Dark, and it stocks for a whopping 5,000,000NP in the Hidden Tower. It should be fairly obvious that Starry Battle Dung is absurdly overpriced for general use, considering Scroll of Knowledge provides equal power and can be found on the Shop Wizard. For the price of Starry Battle Dung, not one, but two 15-icon Stone Foam Fingers can be purchased. For a few million Neopoints more, the Earth-heavy Skarls Hasty Mace can be acquired. Had L97 not been conceived, Starry Battle Dung would still be trapped in obscurity. In L97 play, Starry Battle Dung is not quite mainstream, but it is not uncommon either. Starry Battle Dung can be found paired with Rancid Battle Dung or Barbat Throwing Star, or paired with another Starry Battle Dung. Stacked icons are a lethal force in L97, so Starry Battle Dung should always be complimented with Earth and/or Dark weaponry. Common Dual Duties Spyder Stone Necklace and Dusty Magic Broom also mesh with Starry Battle Dung nicely. Rancid Battle Dung is the most common Dung in L97, so it makes sense to examine situations where a Starry Battle Dung would be preferable. Starry Battle Dung(s) fare better than Rancid Battle Dung(s) against Faerie Tabard. Starry Battle Dung can also slide around Frozen Cyodrake Shield unscathed.
