Ratings - Gelert Wand
This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use.

Price (1/3): dirt cheap, basically free, even though it's not worth it because...
Power (0/5): It's a really, really weak dual duty, with split icons, and to top it off it's a species weapon.
Uniqueness (1/2): Plush Gelert Collar is the only other item with this icon combination that does the same or more icon amount.

Overall It's a terrible weapon, but a kind of unique one at that, and dirt cheap to top it off. Not recommended for battling, though. Because of that its final rating is 2/10.

Price/Power (1/5)
A dual duty of this number of icons has been terribly unexciting ever since the release of the Scarab Ring. Seems like at least moving up to that is wise, or to a more powerful non-dual duty.

Countermeasures (1/5)
Like all Species weapons this has the advantage of being unable to be used if stolen. Besides this, fire and light are not horrible icons to use nor are water and darkness horrible to block. However the numbers are insufficient to block a significant burst/get through a shield.

Alternatives, Upgrades or Downgrades
Well a Scarab Ring is a simply dual duty, or move up to more power with a Golden Compass. Otherwise move to an overall more powerful weapon like a Scroll of Knowledge.

Other Points (1 Bonus)
It does look nice for an old item, Will be nice if it retires.

Final Thoughts
Another useless species item that at least ALMOST keeps up with the competition in the dual duty market.
