Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) This weapon jumped up in price from 1.5, to 5, to- well, an ungodly amount now. The price is far too high for any reasonable person to consider unless it offered top tier battledome performance... which it doesn't. So. No. Countermeasures (0/5) Honestly, given that the current market has weapons starting with almost double this in terms of power for a fraction of its old cost; this'll still be its own counter. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades A Void Blade works. Other Points Final Thoughts This is fine- as a collectors piece. I wish I had picked one up back in the day, but here we are. Rating: | Price/power (1/5): Outclassed by Ylanas Blaster, but it can sometimes be found for around the same price. Tactical (2/5): The 5 fire icons will be hard to fully block, but it still can't beat the Scarab Ring head to head. Bonus (0/1): Garoo's competency can be questionable at times. Rating: | Overview: So this is one of those weapons that is sometimes worth it but usually not. It's more of a chess piece than a brute-force weapon. The Good: The 11 icons here are a good fit for L97 battling. I'm a fan of fire icons, especially if they can bring out a shield that you know you can cut through. You can basically use this to give someone the old switcheroo. The Bad: Let's first consider that the Blaster can be purchased for a competitive price. Assuming that, then next I'd look at it's biggest weakness, which would be the very popular L97 shield Faerie Tabard. The Tabard completely shuts down the Blaster while being able to take on some additional water and air icons. Also, Wand of Lameness is the poor L97 Battler's way to ward off the Portable Kiln, so there are two common ways that the Garoo Elite Blaster can be matched or beat. If we look at this outside of L97, it's just too expensive for what it does. The Ugly Truth:The Garoo Elite Blaster works well in drawing out the Faerie Tabard if your timing is decent, but one wrong use and your attack is completely crippled.
