Rating: | Price/Power (1/5) The longer time goes on, the less impressive this becomes. It still costs a ton, but the power hasn't kept up. Countermeasures (1/5) I actually don't mind the sheer amount of darkness being used here; but there are better sources. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades You can read most of the direct options within the other reviews; but do know there are some more modern options with more icons. Like I don't know- the Void Blade? Its price is currently increased, but chances are you have one already. Other Points Final Thoughts Insane. Rated on August 31, 2022 |

Rating: | At a Glance (1/3): Tap into the power of the Apocalypse with the supposedly most power sword in all of NeoQuest II, dealing 3 icons of fire, 5 icons of dark, and 0.5-5 icons of physical damage! Pretty insane, no? In-Depth (2/4): Dark damage used in conjunction with fire tend to be pretty strong. You can expect to see Sophies Magic Hat and perhaps Rod of Dark Nova used against this. However, aside from those two counters, your opponent will need to rely on using two dual duties and/or shields to block fire + dark damage. That's where this sword comes in handy, as you have the opportunity to supplement either the fire or dark portion of the damage! Flask of Liquid Fire, Mask of Coltzan, Portable Kiln, Rusty Cleaver, Garoo Elite Blaster, and Ylanas Blaster fits with its fire damage, while {{Dark Faerie Collar}}, Greater Tiki Amulet, Jhudoras Bewitched Ring, Ring of the Sway, Sun and Moon Chakram, and Wraith Scroll fits with its dark damage. Many of these also fit with its variable physical damage, as well as Rusty Pitchfork, Altador Cup Throwing Star, Brynns Legendary Sword of Wraith Smiting, and Throwing Nachos. Those weapons can be taken into consideration as well. All in all, it makes for an interesting, tactical weapon to combo with. Do be careful when using it against dual duty weapons such as the aforementioned pitchfork, Hanso Charisma Charm, and even the humble Scarab Ring! Price (0/2): Unfortunately, this sword averages to a very shallow ~10.75 total icons of damage, making it a poor choice economically compared to many 10 and 11 ico... ▼ Read More ▼ |

Rating: | Price/power (1/5): The price is horrible for what it does. 9-iconers are so cheap these days that they can be bought for as little as 2000 NP, and 13-iconers aren't that expensive either. Tactical (2/5): Easily stopped by Sophies Magic Hat. Scarab Ring could potentially come out on top and Hanso Charisma Charm also does very well against this. Bonus (0/1): I seem to remember Rohane doing more damage than this. Closing remarks: In this day and age, NQII weapons have mostly gone out of style. The 13-iconers may still have some uses, but this sword and the Staff of Righteous Fury are obsolete. Get an Altador Cup Throwing Star instead. Rated on January 30, 2013 |
