Rating: | Price/power (4/5): Significant chance to freeze, plus it's very cheap. Tactical (2/5): Weak attack and small chance to freeze. Clearly a weapon from a bygone era. Bonus (0/1): The {{Frost Cannon}}s haven't aged very well. Closing remarks: You could potentially get this before you're able to afford the Randomly Firing Freeze Ray, but I'd say you're better off simply not using a freezer until then. Rating: | Price/Power (1/5) This is most likely the best value for money of the frost cannon series right now, but that isn't saying much considering the other options on the market. At this price to power ratio for only a 12.5% freeze chance? it is better to simply have a different item until later. By using this item now days you are losing out on more icons worth of damage then you would get from your free turn of freezing. Countermeasures (1/5) When frozen there is little someone can do to stop you, but at this point it isn't likely. Alternatives, Upgrades or Downgrades Perhaps it is best to lay off the freezers until you can reach a point where you can afford a Scroll of Freezing, which is a 100%, but fragile, freezer. Or upgrade to the awesome valued Randomly Firing Freeze Ray which offers a 50% chance but will never break. Other Points (2 Bonus) Given out for free from the Battledome, so it is highly deflated. Also it looks nice in an "old artwork" sort of way. Final Thoughts While this may be the best value for money frost cannon, it has been left behind in time. Rated on November 21, 2012 |
