12 icons is pretty decent.. until you realise the price. Given the newfound use of this weapon the price is the worst part of this weapon...

Countermeasures (4/5)
Given the rise of popularity in brightvale scrolls this item has became a lot more useful. This kills scrolls like the Scroll of the Fool, Scroll of the Scholar and Scroll of Knowledge which are very commonly used of late.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
No other shields really offer such broad defense. No real alternatives that is for sure. Even the only downgrades are worthless once a battle setups. I suppose you could get a Downsize!, but the items you would be blocking with this would be a waste of that.

Other Points (1 Bonus)
Such a broad array of defense has to be worth a little something something.

Final Thoughts
If this item was ever given out during one of TNT's events the value of this item would insanely rise.

Price/power (1/5): Not enough icons blocked for the price, whether it's total icons or for each type.

Tactical (3/5): This is interesting in that pets with high defense will benefit greatly from this shield. It covers all the icon types except for water. However, most will find that 2 icons in any type is simply too little to matter.

Bonus (1/1): For being interesting. It does indeed have a niche use.

Closing remarks: A notable alternative is the Faerie Shield, which covers water instead of physical. If you want something cheaper than this, check out the Virtupets X-514 Super Shield.
