Ratings - Sloth Approved Hair Gel
Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Price (0/3): Smuggler's cove item, which means the price will most likely hurt. Power (3/5): 100% freezing is great, and the two damage icons can be nice, but besides that this doesn't really offer that much, considering other items that do exactly the same like Freezing Potion do exactly the same for way less Uniqueness (0/2): Freezers are incredibly common, while 100% ones aren't really rare either. Overall it's a great weapon, but it gets completely ruined by it's price and the availability of alternatives. Because of that its final rating is 3/10. Rated on April 30, 2020 |
Rating: | Overview: Though this is by far the coolest-looking freezer in the game, its cost is much higher than other comparable freezers thanks to it being a cove item. The Good: Sloth Approved Hair Gel gets bonus cool points for being awesome-looking. Aside from that, freezing plus icons is always nice, and the two dark would probably be unexpected. The Bad: The Gel costs 3 or more times what Freezing Potion costs, and has the same effect, which is 100% freeze plus 2 icons. In fact, you could upgrade to a Magical Marbles of Mystery or a Sleep Ray for a respective 3 or 4 icons worth of damage, instead of only 2, and either would be cheaper than this (though just barely cheaper with the Sleep Ray). The Ugly Truth: Honestly, using this weapon depends on whether or not you've got np to spare. Functionally, you can get better for cheaper. Once you get up to where you can pay 15 million or more for your freezer, you've got to consider whether you want to have an aesthetically-superior weapon, or a functionally superior weapon. Rating: Rating History ▼ | Price/Power (0/5) Being a cove item this is one of the more expensive 100% freezers out there, but still a viable option if you managed to pick it up cheaply near launch or from the cove. The price has now risen to a point where it is not worth using if you don't already own one. Countermeasures (5/5) Freezing is the ultimate tactical move and allows you to do a TON of extra damage. While you may not need THIS weapon to do it, the added damage of this freezer makes it pretty great at what it does. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades There are many of varying price points. But at this level you may be looking more towards the Moehog Skull. Realistically though you may prefer a normal 100% Freezer like a Magical Marbles of Mystery or a H4000 Helmet. Other Points (No Bonus) Final Thoughts A few of my friends have one of these... I am so jealous of them all. Rated on May 26, 2013. Updated April 15, 2014 |
