Price/Power (2/5)
It really does have crazy levels of power against Lupes to be sure, but given the stupidly high price tag it will be out of the realm of most battlers.

Countermeasures (2/5)
Between the various methods of blocking all or most dark (Blaze, Hanso Charisma Charm or even the now much cheaper Illusens Staff), and similar (but rarer) options for earth such as the (Pretty Negg Shield,Pirate Captains Hat and Illusens Silver Shield) - it feels like for the most part if you do happen to find the perfect target for this weapon; it may have already equipped a much cheaper way of blocking you.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
Against lupes it is fairly impossible to find anything mathematically better using darkness- so that is good. The lower cost of something like the Wand of the Dark Faerie may make some high dark damage with additional oomph available more, but honestly it is hard to beat. For regular fighting however and looking at the current weapons around- while 19 icons is still hard or close to impossible to beat cheaply; items like the Void Blade, Turned Tooth - and even reasonably priced hidden tower weapons like the Skarls Hasty Mace seem like better, more practical options for much less money.

Other Points

Final Thoughts
Icon Inflation is a real thing, but this one has been a little outdated ever since the price reached unmanageable levels.

This weapon will have 2 ratings, one against lupes, and a regular use one. The final rating will be an average of those two.

For Lupe battling:
Price (0/3): Retired hidden tower items are used to make this, making it almost impossible to get because every one left is a fortune and a half.
Power (5/5): 23 to 38 icons. That's completely insane, Even if your opponent had a full dark blocker there's still 10 physical icons left.
Uniqueness (1/2): weapons with different uses depending on certain conditions are still relatively uncommon, so it at least gets a point.

Overall it is an amazingly strong weapon, and a full blocker is a must have to go against it. For that it gets a 6/10

For regular use:
Price (0/3): Retired hidden tower items are used to make this, making it almost impossible to get because every one left is a fortune and a half.
Power (3/5): 12 to 19 icons is great, and being mono icon is awesome. Sadly, it's an easy to block icon, but surprisingly fully blocking earth isn't that normal.
Uniqueness (1/2): weapons with different uses depending on certain conditions are still relatively uncommon, so it at least gets a point.

Overall it's an alright weapon, but definitely not worth it for that price. For that it gets a 4/10

Because of that, the Average review is 5/10. If you battle lupes this would be a magnificent weapon, but sadly it's not as easily available as it was in the past.

At a Glance (2/3):
Against lupes, this blade cuts a colossal 13-28 icons of darkness and 10 of physical! Against all other pets, this smacks a lesser 12-19 icons of earth.

In-Depth (2/4):
This weapon is fairly straightforward to use. If your opponent is a lupe, abuse it. It becomes stronger than the almighty Super Attack Pea. If not, then use this as a weaker version of Sword of Thare, sporting a 13.34 icon average. There's hardly a time for lupes to be common enough as the BD species of choice, so I would count on using it for its massive earth.

It, like its anagram equivalent, will have no problem slicing through shields, but watch out for full earth blockers or reflectors, notably Pirate Captains Hat and Shovel Plus/Ultra Dual Shovel. Against a lupe, dark blockers and dual duties, such as Ghostkershield, Hanso Charisma Charm, and Illusens Staff can be problematic for it.

Price (0/2):
Since Carrotblade, a key component in making this blade, is retired, the price will be reflected upon this semi-retired status. Therefore, it wouldn't really be cost-effective as a weaker alternative to SoThare. Against lupes is a different story, so if you have spare change for this, get one and save it for the day you fight a lupe.

Bonus (1/1):
This is kind of like Hubrid Nox's answer to lupes adopting the use of Lupe Chia Bombs, which are super-effective against chias. Only, this blade is MUCH more super-effective on lupes than the bomb is on chias.

Final Score: 5/10
