Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Price (0/3): Retired hidden tower item. Good luck finding one of these. Power (0/5): 25% chance of freezing with multifreeze. It wouldn't be that bad...... if it did something else when it didn't freeze. Most of the time you'd end up wasting your slot and whatever you get while actually freezing won't make up for it. Uniqueness (0/2): If you want a good multifreezer, try Sword of Lameness. Overall It's a product of its time. An interesting item, but that's about it. It also has a nice art and is a great gallery item, but as a battledome weapon it's just terrible.. Because of that its final rating is 0/10. I can't give a rating of 0 however, so it gets a shameful 1 instead. Rated on April 30, 2019 |
Rating: | Price/power (3/5): Extremely rare and expensive and doesn't freeze particularly often, but may freeze multiple times in a single battle. Still the best multi-freezer in the game though. Tactical (3/5): Useful in high HP battling, where your opponent may need to be frozen quite a few times before you can finally take them down. Particularly useful in boss battles during plots. However, the Sword of Lameness has a few extra functions that make it a viable alternative. Bonus (1/1): Once used by the legendary Majal_Kita to take down the Monoceraptor, if I remember correctly. Closing remarks: For most intents and purposes, an H4000 Helmet or Magical Marbles of Mystery will do. Since the dice are so rare, you're almost certainly better off getting a Slumberberry Potion or a Sword of Lameness instead. Rated on August 31, 2015 |
Rating: | At a Glance (2/3): Roll these dice in a battledome fight, and if you land the correct number or number combination, watch your opponent magically become frozen! Good thing landing a 7 doesn't actually cause them to vanish right? Right...? In-Depth (2/4): These dice would only be helpful in high hp, max boost fights where pets can take enough damage to try to gamble for multiple freezes. It has the highest chance to freeze as a multifreezer in the game with a 1/4 ratio, compared to Slumberberry Potion's 1/6 chance, and Sword of Lameness' 1/8 chance. It also has a pretty noticeable drawback, having the least overall utility a midst the 3 big 3 multifreezers, offering no constant offense like s-pot, or healing and offense like the sword. Price (0/2): It is a hidden tower weapon that's been retired for a long time. If anyone still has these, they will most likely be using it, or keep it in a gallery to show off their age. It will be difficult to purchase one, and it'll be a costly buy too. Bonus (1/1): Forget cards! The heart of the dice is where it's at! Well, compared to the cards that can be used in the battledome, I mean... Final Score: 5/10 Rated on July 31, 2014 |
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) Ice dice is a good multi-freezer in theory, but in practice it is far too expensive and offers little reason to use it. Maybe if it had some added attack or defense, but as it stands this is a relic. Countermeasures (2/5) 1/4 turns will be frozen. Very nice, but is it worth using up the slot? Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades If you want a low freeze chance with an attack attached, you need a Slumberberry Potion, which can do it more then once. Otherwise get a Randomly Firing Freeze Ray or a full freezer like a H4000 Helmet. Other Points (1 Bonus) Retired item bonus Final Thoughts I wish I had a pair, they used to be a lot cheaper once upon a time. Rated on April 15, 2014 |
Rating: | Power: 2/5 While 25% is certainly the best multi-freeze chance around the complete lack of any offense is a big downside and will - in most cases - make them not worthwhile. Counters: 0/3 Watch out for Clawed Shield and Rainbow Swirly Thing which both negate the freezing if used on the same turn as Ice Dice making this completely useless. Uniqueness: 0/1 Slumberberry Potion is the most notable multi-freezer option that doesn't occupy other slots while additionally providing some offense - Sword of Lameness is the other big option which does however also occupy the healer slot. If you just need a few extra freezes for one battle you might want to consider the single use Thrown Slushie Cup which doesn't occupy the freezer slot, so you can bring multiple ones to the battle. Bonus: 0/1 Beware that if this ever gets changed to match it's description it'll only have a 13.89% freeze chance while having a 16.67% chance of breaking for the battle which would make it completely useless.
