Ratings - Seasonal Attack Pea
Recommended for: Elite Battlers
Price at Time of Rating: 110m-150m, subject to fluctuations

This weapon was randomly given out as a rare daily prize during the 2023 Advent Calendar, which brought its price down significantly.

Pretty straightforward here -- this is the 2nd strongest constant attacker in the game at 28 icons, and is now the most affordable amongst its peers (though still very pricey for most players).

The powerful attack consists of only 2 icon types, so it can be severely weakened if your opponent has an earth blocker or reflector. However, this weakness is shared amongst its peer weapons, so I don't consider it a big fault.

In order of total icons, the strongest constant attackers are Attack Pea (24), Grapes of Wrath (24), Seasonal Attack Pea (28), and Super Attack Pea (32). Seasonal Attack Pea is now the cheapest by a large margin, so it is the no-brainer choice if you're already at this level of battling and budget.

You can also consider multi-duty weapons such as Wand of the Dark Faerie or Fan of Swords, which don't offer quite as much constant attack power but are more versatile due to their icon types and/or additional effects.

Quite a large number of these were awarded during the 2023 Advent Calendar, and it's hard to know for sure how many may be in circulation. The price may also fluctuate greatly in the coming months due to plot speculation.

This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use.

Price (3/3): Grapes of Wrath, Attack Pea, Seasonal Attack Pea, and Super Attack Pea all are endgame constants, and thus you should get either whichever's cheapest or whichever does the most damage, depending on your need.

Power (5/5): 24 icons is the next step after Hidden Tower weapons, not counting weapons that do massive ranges and rely on luck to get the higher end of the spectrum. This weapon goes above that and does 28 icons instead. Even if Grapes of Wrath and Attack Pea were to somehow be cheaper, this will still be more tempting due to its 4 extra icons. The only thing you should worry about with this weapon is earth blocking and reflection, so let's see what you should watch out for the most:
Roxtons Trusty Bowie Knife is a common 15 iconer that blocks just as many earth icons out of this pea, bringing it down to a 13 iconer vs a 15 iconer, beating you.
Pretty Negg Shield will block 12 earth icons and reflect 4, bringing it down to a 12 iconer vs 4 reflected icons.
Illusens Silver Shield, Shield of Pion Troect, Pirate Captains Hat, and the way rarer Greater Staff of the Earth Faerie and Earth Scarab all fully block earth, leaving you with an 8 iconer while a few of these do a few icons of damage on top.
The dirt cheap Shovel Plus and the incomparably rarer and more expensive Craftsmans Lens and Kings Lens all reflect 50% earth, bringing you down to a 18 iconer vs 10 reflected icons.
Ultra Dual Shovel reflects 75% earth, bringing you do...

Seasonal Attack Pea boasts the second strongest attack in the game at 28 icons, just 4 icons behind Super Attack Pea. Although it commands an incredibly high price, no price is truly unreasonable for weapons of this caliber. Seasonal Attack Pea belongs to the small group of truly elite items in the game.

In 1-Player battling, Seasonal Attack Pea is the second most powerful force a player could bring with them into arena, just behind Super Attack Pea. Icon types are not as important in 1-Player as they are in 2-Player, but mass-Earth and mass-Light is fairly likeable anyway.

In 2-Player battling, Seasonal Attack Pea is still elite, but it does have some difficulty in facing off against other elite level items. Although it is the second strongest weapon in terms of raw power, Seasonal Attack Pea has trouble head-to-head with many high-end weapons. Skarls Sword and Wand of the Dark Faerie will both win head-to-head thanks to their ability to handle Seasonal Attack Pea's Light icons. Ultra Dual Shovel will also come out ahead of Seasonal Attack Pea. At a more down-to-earth level, Pirate Captains Hat will stop Seasonal Attack Pea dead in its tracks as long as the hat holds together.

Still, Seasonal Attack Pea is a very formidable weapon and of the best in the game. The Light icons may not be the most favorable icon type, but the 20 Earth icons and 28 icons overall make Seasonal Attack Pea as serious of a threat as any weapon.

Price/Power (4/5)
This is a LOT of firepower, especially in 1P. It has the advantage of the extra light on top of the normal Attack Pea's earth damage.

Countermeasures (4/5)
Earth is pretty easy to reflect and defend against. Until it breaks the Pirate Captains Hat can completely destroy this, while the Ultra Dual Shovel can cut into it deeply. However both options are only viable if you are expected to be using earth, if not this attack is killer.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
While providing less overall damage the Grapes of Wrath may provide a better choice in 2P, while the Super Attack Pea offers the natural upgrade path to this pea.

Other Points (No Bonus)

Final Thoughts
That must be one powerful Santa hat...

1P 8/10: A constant 28 icons!!! If you can afford it, I recommend it.

2P 7/10: Earth/light is a weak combination for 2Pthis weapon can be easily defended with Ultra Dual Shovel, Kings Lens, Craftsmans Lens, or Pirate Captains Hat. The sheer power of this weapon warrants a mild recommendation as an alternate attacker.
