Rating: | Price/Power (1/5) A weaker version of the Magic Gridlock Gun- it is mildly cheaper, but losing four icons is a steep cost. Countermeasures (1/5) This is a very scattershot degree of icons, making it harder than you'd expect to block. But the fact it is still missing a couple of those icon types makes it less appealing. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades The main alternative I see is the aforementioned Magic Gridlock Gun Other Points Final Thoughts It doesn't look bad, and if it was say, R75, it may have had a beloved place in many sets over the years... Rating: | Price/power (0/5): 10 icons, r99... just get a Scroll of Knowledge. 1 more icon and MUCH cheaper. Tactical (3/5): Interesting combination of icons here. It's very hard to fully block. That being said, Hanso Charisma Charm, Golden Compass, and even the Oversized Maractite Rune Sword will come out on top against this. Sophies Magic Hat cuts this in half. Bonus (0/1): Not sure how the icons relate to thunder storms... Closing remarks: Get a Scroll of Knowledge or Scroll of the Scholar instead. While you're at it, look into Hanso Charisma Charm, Golden Compass, or one of the 13-iconers such as Altador Cup Throwing Star. Rated on March 5, 2013 |
