Price/Power (0/5)
R99- that in itself should say how much "price to power" this item has. I would say that the look of the item also proves how old and out of place it is, but recently all items are starting to look bad.

Countermeasures (0/5)
Light is not commonly used due to how common light blocking is... it may however take a chunk off some weapons such as the Flask of Liquid fire

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
When the price goes back down- get yourself a Sun and Moon Chakram and forgo the defense entirely.

Final Thoughts
Just say no to this pot- this pot is not worth using.

Overview: Though not quite strong enough to be a real Battledome contender, the Pot of Darkness probably isn't completely useless. Probably.

The Good: It's fun looking at some of the less common dual duties, and technically this matches Dusty Magic Broom in light defense...

The Bad: We've got a few things to consider with the Pot, so let's knock them out:
  • The pot is r99. This means that despite the fact that the icons are on-par with beginner equipment, the Pot of Darkness is as expensive as the mid-tier battling stuff that would obliterate it.
  • Light defense is cheap these days. The Parasol of Unfortunate Demise is my go-to for cheap light/earth/water defense, and it costs less than 1/100th of the price of the Pot of Darkness.
  • As a dual duty, the pot isn't strong enough to hold its own. I mean, you can tie a Chia Ray Gun, or beat Scroll of Moon Light and Battle Torch and but you should be easily defeating anyone who pulls out any of those weapons in a serious fight.

The Ugly Truth: Pot of Darkness is another one of those r99 items that should be left to the collectors and ignored by battlers.
