Ratings - Jhudoras Potion
Rating: | Price/Power (5/5) The price reduction over time makes this much more appealing on this metric; unfortunately ONLY in this metric. Countermeasures (0/5) If it was any other icon type than dark, I feel like this would be sizable better. There really aren't too many bombs that do more icons in a single burst, but with the range between bombs and normal weapons narrowing, even the reduction of price isn't enough to make this weapon be practical. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Alternative wise, naturally you have the much more expensive (and useful) Ghostkerbomb - but I am never a massive fan of bombs anyway, and the fact they haven't inflated alongside the multi-use items make them lose more and more of their shine over time. Other Points Final Thoughts For all we know, this was meant to be a hp increaser. Quick, someone drink it before they stop us! (don't actually drink it, i'm looking at you skieths.) Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Price (1/3): It has certainly gone down in price over the time, and it's more acceptable to get one now because of it, but this bomb is just.... underwhelming. Power (2/5): A bomb should do massive damage. Nowadays you can get 13-15 icon constant attackers easily, and this bomb does 16-24. On top of that they're two of the easiest icons to block. The only bomb worth getting is Ghostkerbomb, and even that isn't as good as it used to be back then. Uniqueness (0/2): bombs are common, and most aren't useful. Overall time has made this less and less worth it. In a middle level it doesn't offer that much to be worth getting, and on a higher budget you can get an anagram sword, which is basically this but you can choose the icon type and it's multiuse. Because of that its final rating is 3/10. Rated on October 31, 2019 |
Rating: | I like to think of Jhudoras Potion (J-Pot) as a Once Per Battle Sword of Skardsen. Jhudoras Potion deals 16 Dark icons and between 0.8 and 8 Physical icons for a total of 16.8 to 24 icons. These numbers are not exactly the same, but they are fairly close to Sword of Skardsen or any Anagram Sword for the matter. The main difference is that J-Pot appears to have a higher average than the Anagram Swords, although Jhudoras Potion could use some more research. It appears that Jhudoras Potion averages between 20 and 21 icons, while the Anagram Swords average 18. This makes Jhudoras Potion the second hardest hitting weapon after Ghostkerbomb in the price range of active Hidden Tower items. At the time of this review, Jhudoras Potion costs about a million Neopoints less than the more powerful Ghostkerbomb. The relative closeness in price means that almost all players saving for a Ghostkerbomb will pass up Jhudoras Potion. This is easily understandable as Ghostkerbomb hits for a much harder average of 25.5 icons for only a million Neopoints more. Additionally, for the Jhudoras Potion's price tag, battlers can pick up a Multiple Use Skarls Hasty Mace instead, or they can save a bit more for a Kelpbeards Trident or Sword of Skardsen. Although Jhudoras Potion's largely Dark-based attack is appealing, it becomes less appealing with the existence of Sword of Skardsen. Although Sword of Skardsen costs several million more, the fact that it is Multiple Use makes it much more desirable. Essentially to only pro point to Jhudoras Potion is its better average, but its slightly higher average is hardly worth sacrifici... ▼ Read More ▼ |
