Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Price(0/3): Completely worthless. Any neopoint spent on this item would be a waste. While the amount of neopoints isn't insane, it might as well be for this item. Power(0/5): The amount of icons this weapon does is too low for today's battledome. There's not much else that can be said about this weapon beyond how underwhelming it is. It doesn't do anything special at all while the amount of icons it deals is pathetic. Uniqueness(0/2): Sadly, most weapons tend to be rather underpowered or bland, be it because of lower than average icon count, easy to block icon types, or just oversaturation. This isn't the exception. Overall it's just your average underpowered, useless item. Nothing worth checking out here. Because of that its final rating is 0/10. Rating: | Price/Power (1/5) While its price is lower now, its power certainly hasn't kept pace with the rest of the site. Countermeasures (1/5) Blocked by a couple of commonish items such as the Wanderers Cloak and the Studded Leather Cuirass. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Void Blade if you just want RAW POWER; Flask of Liquid Light if you just really wanted the icon combination. Other Points Final Thoughts I almost feel... bad? This used to be a fairly well loved 9 icon item a decade or two ago; now it is just another trash item which is worth a skip. I almost wish I could give it a bonus for that; but it isn't even retired... Rated on July 30, 2021 |

Rating: | Price/power (1/5): Very expensive for only 9 icons. And to think it was not only unbuyable back in the day, but widely considered to be a good deal... Tactical (3/5): Comes out even against Winged Scarab and gets at least some icons through every shield at this level except Studded Leather Cuirass, which blocks it fully. Loses to Thief Dagger and most light blocking dual duties out there though. Incidentally, this icon combination is also seen in the Wand of Reality and Pirate Captains Cutlass, among others. Bonus (1/1): I remember having one of these back in the day, after I upgraded from the similar Earth Faerie Slingshot. Closing remarks: The 9-icon era is coming to an end. These days, the Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer, Throwing Cutlass, and a few others are the best 9-iconers while most people can afford a Scroll of the Scholar, Scroll of the Wise, or Scroll of the Fool.
