Ratings - Wand of the Moon
Wand of the Moon is a classic weapon that has been outclassed by more contemporary weaponry.

Back in the mid 2000s, six-icon offensive weaponry was standard for new battlers. A seven-icon weapon like Wand of the Moon or Brain Tree Mace ran for about 150k. At the time, Wand of the Moon was a fairly popular first upgrade for many battlers thanks to its slight increase in offense and its additional defense.

Cheap dual duty weapons like Wand of the Moon that offered an upgrade in offense in addition to their defense were few and far between until low-rarity dual duties like Frozen Wand of Crystals and Cloudy Wand of Storms were released. Coupled with nine-icon constants like Stone Club and Ice Club that soon followed, Wand of the Moon began to lose popularity. When the dark-defending Golden Compass was released, Wand of the Moon vanished from the beginner-level metagame altogether.

While many good, cheap weapons have been released since, Wand of the Moon still carries a price near the user-shop maximum (~99k). Golden Compass is now much cheaper and offers superior offense. Spyder Stone Necklace is also another excellent option now cheaper than Wand of the Moon. Battlers on shoe-string budgets can also look at acquiring Jade Staff and Amulet of Altador at little cost for their dark-blocking dual duty needs. Wand of the Moon is now a relic of the past.

Price/Power (0/5)
2 icons away from being semi useful. Price also lets it down

Countermeasures (0/5)
Can be blocked in part... WHile the three defense is basically useless.
