Ratings - King Kelpbeards Blessing
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) Eh, It is a collectors item. Little more. I mean right now it is still a reasonable price but honestly it is not battledome worthy at any price. Countermeasures (0/5) Not much here to counter. The 6 icon attack is laughable and the light blocking is very unlikely to chance the course of battle. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Just get the similar icon Flaming Blooble Potion or a much better Flask of Liquid Fire. Other Points (2 Bonus) For being a retired RIC prize. Final Thoughts His world may be amazing- but he certainly is not very generous when it comes to battle weapons. Rated on June 27, 2015 |
Rating: | Overview: Kelpbeard's blessing isn't worth quite as much as Kelpbeards Trident, but it's not useless either. The Good: 8.2 total icons is pretty much the minimum to be viable, It can almost match Scroll of Ultranova, Pike Pike, and just falls short of matching the cheap-but-effective Sun and Moon Chakram. The Bad: With the exception of L97 or other lower leagues, King Kelpbeards Blessing is quickly out-matched. The Ugly Truth: There are enough 10-plus-icon weapons around that it would be hard to really use this all the time. That being said, I think the King Kelpbeards Blessing would find a nice home in some rulesy low-league battling. Rated on September 30, 2014 |
Rating: | Price/power (1/5): Fractional and expensive. There are better dual duties for light defense. Tactical (2/5): Water and dark aren't usually seen together, especially in shields. However, the Amulet of Inevitable Betrayal is more effective for this purpose. Bonus (0/1): This gift isn't so special after all. Closing remarks: Light defense is better handled by the Ultimate Negg Hammer, Amulet of Inevitable Betrayal, Ancient Gnarled Wand, and various others. Even the classic Thief Dagger is better than this. Rated on February 27, 2014 |
