The new set of rotational Battledome challengers for Premium subscribers have gone live!

This rotation features The Horde, Spirit of the Ruins, Shadow Spectre Zealot, and Malum from various plots over the years. Each challenger has a new, unique set of item prizes that are being given out (just like the prior rotation).

Another day, another bug fix has been released, this time related to your One Player BD Wins on your user lookup!


Previously, this number represented old, dated information from before the Battledome was revamped. Now, it'll reflect your stats from the Dome Stats page. You will probably have much higher numbers now thanks to beating up all of those Zombie Hooligans over the years!

It looks like stats from the original Battledome were not merged into this figure, but you can still find those numbers on your individual Neopets' lookups.

This fix comes on the heels of various stealing weapons being fixed for 2-Player battles.

Exciting news for the 2P Battledome community tonight: stealing items have been fixed! From today's New Features:

Hello Neopians! We are happy to report that the team worked on fixing a slew of stealing items in the Battledome for PVP:

- Sticky Hands (Blue, Yellow, Red, Purple, Green, Rainbow)
- Crystal Boomerang

Take out these items for a spin in the Battledome, good luck in the arena!

We have not yet confirmed if any other stealing weapons have also been fixed, or if the patch is limited to only the seven items named above by TNT.


The Battledome's stealing mechanic has been broken since the Battledome was revamped in late 2012. Stealing in 1P battles remains non-functional.

Here we go again with another bumper new weapons post- this time almost entirely courtesy of the prize pool shakeup.

First we have the new Illusen's Glade items which currently include;


Which may not seem like much, especially when compared with the offerings from Jhudora's Bluff


Other items we haven't posted about yet include the prizes for beating Vira in the plot, which won't be available again until early next year.


And a prize from the currently ongoing Faerie Festival prize store;


We are still awaiting testing on the newest weapons, so keep watch. There may also be some other items to add to this list yet. For now, don't forget to start questing for the new rewards!

Today sees the release of two new battledome items, in what is turning out to be the single most active time of the battledome's history in a long time. Between the myriad of new premium opponents, plot opponents, a battledome tournament and even an ever growing collection of new weapons; I may actually be able to make my quota this month.

But let's have a look at what is new today;


First we have the Baelia Net Thrower as shown above, this is one of the multiple exclusive item prizes to the game Attack on Altador; which has been released as part of the plot. While the game itself is very slow, and the prize pool is such that chances are you won't win this item easily, the rest of the pool may make it worth playing for you.


The second item new to the battlepedia today was added as an achievement for Faerie Fragments has early testing revealing it to be a healer that currently can be equipped with others. But keep watching for more updates.

Certainly an active time for battledome weapons, isn't it?

Let's have a quick breakdown. The most recent item was released today by beating the newest added wave in the battledome. It is a healer which would have been a lot more exciting before they gave everyone and their dog a pile of Leaded Elemental Vials.


The last chapter came with a semi-decent multi-use attacker as a reward for the story; alongside a more confusing item we haven't entirely worked out yet.


We also saw the first new mote we have seen in a long while- and it is just as bad as all the other ones. This being another battledome prize reward alongside the slightly more interesting Pocket Sand.


Then for the final two equip-able options, the hospital provided scalpel and the Faerie Fragments provided Wand of Nova knockoff.


I say "final two equip-able" because we have also been inundated with a number of new single player only weapons in the past month; which I will now place here in order of appearance.


Point is, there has been a lot, and will likely continue to be more as we keep our eyes firmly placed on the Void Within; don't forget to check out Jellyneo's coverage of the plot so you don't miss any content

Today marks the beginning of the Festival of Neggs- the best time of the year. With it comes a brand new battledome item courtesy of one Hanso.


While it doesn't come close to matching his charisma charm; it is always nice to get another battledome item even if it isn't anything too worthy.

Today's comic comes bundled with a fresh new battledome item; time will tell just how good it is but the chances that it will dethrone the Leaded Elemental Vial as the most OP healer mass-released in 2024 will likely be low.
