Today's item represents the first of hopefully multiple weapons added to the Advent Calendar. We have had mixed luck the past few years when it comes to releases.
Today's weapon is known as the "Bundle of Burning Birch Branches"; a pleasant surprise given the number of re-releases during this Advent already.
Be sure to head on down to the Advent Calendar today to pick one up; alternatively check out our guide for more information on other prizes released this year.
Be sure to take note of the individual notes included with each item; many of this year's items are particularly different. We have even seen some previously unreleased or retired items pop up! If there is any year that you should be taking notice of the release schedule it is this one. Who knows, maybe we'll see some rare or unreleased battledome items like the Attack Stapler

Had it been an actual 14 iconer I would say it could be a consideration for a choice for newcomers, but with it actually doing less than 13 they've released better choices.
(Man, saying that out loud, they should really consider looking back at older weapons and doing something with them. Not exactly give them more attack icons, in some cases sure, but maybe give them some defense icons or additional/special effects. Or maybe make some new weapons which work in conjunction with older weapons in some way; Like one idea I have is the "Flinging Deck Dealer" which pre-battle you can load with Battlecards and, when used in battle, it'll fling out 1 random card of each color).
