First we have the brand new "Varia is the Bomb"- which can be claimed after only the first day. While official testing has yet to occur, apparently it’s an icon-swapped GBomb.
Additionally you can pick up a free 12 million np hidden tower item in the form of the Shield of Faerieland. This full air blocker also may block fire and physical, and given the set price it may be a decent pick up as well.

I think this must be a record for new battledome items within an advent calendar; but this year we have yet one more!

Wow, even though they haven't exactly been super exciting; there certainly have been plenty of new weapons to sink our teeth into. Today we have the long-winded Roxtons Trusty Bowie Knife.
Thankfully this one does look to be multi-use; in the past some advent items can be rather powerful so I would never say no. Get to the Advent Calendar today to pick one up.

Okay so today we have... oh, the Frozen Wave Scimitar... That item is rather old. Not even worth making a news post about...
Is what would likely not even had been said if it wasn't for the surprise cookie.
Today does actually come with a brand new battledome item! What could have easily just been a simple food item turns out to be a weapon. This one use item has yet to be tested and would have to be very impressive to be worth using in today's icon heavy climate; but it is still likely worth going to the Advent Calendar today to pick one up.
Be sure to check out our guide for more information on other prizes released this year. So far this year prizes have continued to be a surprise; with re-released and highly inflated items being TNTs preference.

Today's item represents the first of hopefully multiple weapons added to the Advent Calendar. We have had mixed luck the past few years when it comes to releases.
Today's weapon is known as the "Bundle of Burning Birch Branches"; a pleasant surprise given the number of re-releases during this Advent already.
Be sure to head on down to the Advent Calendar today to pick one up; alternatively check out our guide for more information on other prizes released this year.
Be sure to take note of the individual notes included with each item; many of this year's items are particularly different. We have even seen some previously unreleased or retired items pop up! If there is any year that you should be taking notice of the release schedule it is this one. Who knows, maybe we'll see some rare or unreleased battledome items like the Attack Stapler
