This weapon will have two ratings, but it'll be different from the usual format I have. The ratings are depending of if you have the weapon or not, since this is a no-trade weapon that was gotten from a past plot. The final rating will be an average of those two. Also, since this weapon and Sword of Malum are identical, both will receive the same review.
If you have it:
Price (3/3): It didn't cost a single neopoint to get, and you only had to get it late into the event. as such there's no way I can't give this a perfect rating
Power (4/5): It does between 17 and 22 icons spread between 4 types, at least 2 of which are easy to block, but what matters is the amount. It's almost the same as an anagram sword, minus 2 max possible icons. In 1p it doesn't matter, this is basically a free anagram sword. In 2p this become less useful, being able to have partially blocked. Faerie Tabard and Ghostkershield bring it down to 8 to 9 icons, while Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield brings it down to 6 to 7 icons, but even then, most of the blocking icons of those shields are used up by this weapon while it still sends some through, so I can't really take many points off it.
Uniqueness(1/2): A weapon like this is insane, dealing so many icons, and being handed so easily through an even, and the no-trade makes sure that unless you got it when the event happened, you won't be able to get it ever. It doesn't have a max rating here because the same event gave away its twin, Sword of Malum.

Overall this is the best weapon (along with its twin) that was available from that event, and it gave many users the option to attack with anagram sword level of ...

Price/Power (0/5)
This item is crazy powerful for the fact it was gotten for FREE. However, it is no longer obtainable unless you were participating in the plot actively. This means that while it is amazing, unless you already own one you can't use this item.

Countermeasures (5/5)
This is an insane number of icons for a free item. It is just as powerful as an anagram sword but with a split icon type...

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
Honestly, this is pretty top of class for a free item. Some items like the over the top Grapes of Wrath naturally beat it and you may get an item with some sort of additional effect or defense that matches up well but as it stands this item is crazy powerful.

Final Thoughts
One of the reasons I avoided reviewing items like this for so long after release is that I thought surely they would have to be nerfed. I suppose the fact they are no-trade means at least people are limited with their use, if you own one it is very much worth using... if you don't well, sorry.
