Price/Power (2/5)
8 Icons attack, 3 defense. Not horrible for a dual duty and the price is pretty low.

Countermeasures (2/5)
Light is pretty rare to block, however at this level of fighting it is also rarely used. You may beat down a Festive Holiday Scroll or a Golden Compass sometimes however it is kind of underwhelming to me. The main downside of this weapon is the huge sum of physical icons used, with items like the Altadorian Swordbreaker just able to totally cut it down.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
If you really need to block light, try a Parasol of Unfortunate Demise, dual duty wise I would most likely prefer using a Golden Compass or a Amulet of Inevitable Betrayal, however most dual duties are remarkably underwhelming.. For attack a Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer may also work.

Other Points (1 bonus)
It is retired, and it is negg related. Neggs are awesome.

Final Thoughts
Negg items are pretty neggy.

Price/power (5/5): At the time of writing, this costs a little under 20k. About as cheap as light-defending dual duties get.

Tactical (3/5): Having more than 3 icons in anything means that shields are likely to be overwhelmed. However, physical is very easy to block, especially with stuff like the Altadorian Swordbreaker and Winged Scarab. Most shields (e.g. Shiny Shoal Shell Shield, Studded Leather Cuirass) also block physical, so the value in having 5 physical icons seems a little dubious.

Bonus (1/1): Finally, a Negg item worth using.

Closing remarks: Your next best alternative is probably the Amulet of Inevitable Betrayal or the Sword of the Dead, both of which are more expensive and deal less damage. At the time of writing, the Ancient Gnarled Wand is no longer a cost-effective option.
