Ratings - Cobrall Cannon
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) I do like heavy fire based attacks- but 8 icons hasn't been good enough for- well- a very long time. Countermeasures (1/5) Snakes are the counter- counter snakes with snakes. You won't have a good time. Alternatives, Upgrades or Downgrades Flask of Liquid Fire is the most fire based weapon option you have. But really any modern high icon count multiuse will do. Final Thoughts It seems like a handy tool for Australia- set one of these up in the front yard, shovel snakes into cannon, fire cannon. Problem is when the product becomes widespread and then people who you fire snakes at start to fire BACK. Rated on November 24, 2018 |
Rating: | The transition from Cobrall in a Can to Cobrall Cannon was... underwhelming, to say the least. Power: 8 icons? In the day and age of Turned Tooth? Even if you're a dirt-poor 1P battler, you're better off with a Scroll of Ultranova. On the 2P side: I can't think of a single 2P league in which this isn't totally outclassed by Rusty Cleaver. I guess if you were to take L54 and ban 10 and 9 icon constants... then this would still see no play because of Chilli Sword. Alternatives: Something stronger, like Scroll of Ultranova or Turned Tooth. Or, if you're dead-set on attacking with fire, Tyrannian Sceptre. Or, if you're rich and dead-set on attacking with fire, Sword of Reif. There's really nothing more to say here. This is, unfortunately, just another piece of outclassed junk. The art doesn't even look good because the Cobrall on the cannon looks super-crusty - it's just a downscaled version of the normal Cobrall art. Combined with its gravity-ignoring posture, it looks like it doesn't even belong there... Conclusion: For getting 5500 points in Piper Panic, you'd think this reward would be a little less terrible.
