Price/Power (4/5)
13-22 icons is nothing to be scoffed at bomb wise. It is hardly a Ghoskerbomb- but it does offer some impressive damage potential for its price.

Countermeasures (3/5)
Some common items such as the Nebula Force Field Generator may chip off some- but without something able to full block either light or darkness such as a Hanso Charisma Charm or Parasol of Unfortunate Demise this could easily take someone by surprise. Due to how common the aforementioned charm is however, getting so lucky may be rare indeed.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
I would perhaps consider getting a high damage multiuse like a Bowling Ball of Lost Cities instead. Because clearly if you are interested in this item you are caring more about bulk damage and less about what can and can't block you.

Other Points (1 Deduction)
But by far the worst part of this item is the 5% chance of self damage- while it isn't much, is it really worth losing out on a turn for what is essentially an easy to block burst of damage?

Final Thoughts
Could be very good for single player use- but still likely marred by its downside.
