Price/power (1/5): Basically a weaker version of the Ghostkerbomb, yet it manages to cost nearly as much.

Tactical (0/5): Since you generally don't want to use bombs unless your opponent is frozen, this needs to be powerful enough to be worthwhile. In other words, it needs to be more powerful than your other weapons. This is only slightly better than the Honey Potion on average, so it's rather pointless as a high-level bomb. Also, it's only marginally more powerful than the 13-iconers and significantly worse than the anagram swords, so you really shouldn't be getting this bomb.

Bonus (0/1): They could have made it cheaper at least.

Closing remarks: Save up for the Ghostkerbomb or just stick to the Honey Potion. Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy is a good alternative for the time being if you've outgrown the Honey Potion but can't afford a Ghostkerbomb.

Price/Power (0/5)
This item is a terribly weak version of a Ghostkerbomb which somehow manages to cost nearly the same amount. While its older brother is basically one of the most powerful bombs on the site this one just fills the roll commonly referred to as "useless". If you can afford to buy this, realistically you might as well just go and buy the Ghostkerbomb on the trading post. Even then- bombs themselves are becoming less and less useful as the average icon level of the dome crawls ever higher over the years... this does not add to the score.

Countermeasures (0/5)
Generally you use a bomb when the opponent pet is frozen and unable to do anything. This means you can get the most damage through without running into a pesky defense. Even with that in mind I can't give extra points here just because it is so weak in comparison to the competition. What is moreover is the fact that people may be attempting to block items with this combination of icons since the Ghostkerbomb does the exact same icon distribution. If this bomb was using different icon types perhaps I could justify giving some points here- but as it stands I can't- I really can't.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
Ghostkerbomb if you really want a bomb... But honestly you may be better going with something a bit more constant. I mean take even the super cheap Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy which is able to do almost as much damage as this weak bomb.. every turn... and you start to realise just how pointless this item really is.

Final Thoughts
I couldn't even eat this cheese, bah, talk about useless. Since...

After acknowledging a request for a cheese-themed Hidden Tower weapon several months ago, TNT finally delivered by dropping the Smelly Cheese Bomb this past week. Unfortunately, Smelly Cheese Bomb turned out to be quite underwhelming.

Smelly Cheese Bomb stocks at a price of 6.6m Neopoints or just under 6m flat with the random event-granting discount. For comparison, Skarls Hasty Mace stocks in the Hidden Tower for a slightly higher 7m price and Ghostkerbomb stocks for a 7.5m price. It should be noted that Battledome weapon prices have tumbled tremendously in recent months; Ghostkerbomb sells for roughly 6m on the player market at this point.

Smelly Cheese Bomb deals 12.6 to 18.0 icons, quite an underwhelming number considering the stock price and the Once per Battle usability. The weapon has two sets of 0.3 to 3.0 Physical icons, meaning the weapon hits around its average of 15.3 icons frequently. For only a few hundred thousand Neopoints, or a fraction of the cost of Smelly Cheese Bomb, a player can pick up a Honey Potion that deals a comparable 14.65 icons Once per Battle. For roughly 2m Neopoints, a player can pick up a Multiple Use Stone Foam Finger dealing a constant 15.0 icons. An abundance of options rival Smelly Cheese Bomb's power on a much smaller budget.

For roughly the same price as Smelly Cheese Bomb, players can pick up Skarls Hasty Mace a Multiple Use weapon dealing an increased average of 16.6 icons. Players can alternatively pick up Ghostkerbomb, the far superior bomb choice dealing a whopping 21 to 30 icons.

Ghostkerbomb happens to be the big problem with Smelly Chees...
