Price/Power (0/5)
Unfortunately this item would likely not be worth using at any price thanks to icon inflation.

Countermeasures (0/5)
Air is a good icon to block- but honestly it really is not very useful at this level. Icon variety is huge these days and it would be very cheap to find another item to use which would render this useless.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
It is no Frozen Water Daggers that is for sure. Honestly any dual duties under 12 icons total are generally worth avoiding.

Other Points (2 Bonus)
For being an event prize and for being a lovely negg item.

Final Thoughts
So yeah, if you guys don't want yo- *hit over the head by a brick.

When giving inexperienced battlers set advice, I frequently see them listing this as one of their weapons. This must be due to the fact that everyone around for the Y14 Festival of Neggs received one for free, as it was definitely not based on merit.

This weapon is one of many 3-6 Dual Duty weapons, so my short response is this weapon is too weak. Now, the Dark+Air defense combo is hard to find at this level, so it does fall into a niche group of situational weapons like Earthen Scorchstone and Dark Faerie Cloud Racer Helmet.

Ultimately, this weapon will be ineffective more times than not. The standard beginner weapons these days are at minimum Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer and Scroll of Ultranova, weapons that deal 9 or more icons. A Dual Duty that features 9 total icons, with only 3 of them being offensive will have to utilize both its icon types of defensive coverage to even keep up in an entry-level battle. That is a lot to ask.

Beginners should stay away from this weapon, and opt for 9+ icon weapons instead, like the two linked above. An experienced battler with a tiny budget may be able to squeeze this weapon into a role, but overall this weapon is lackluster.

Price/power (3/5): Not very powerful, but at least it's relatively cheap. It's an alternative to the more expensive Amulet of Altador.

Tactical (3/5): 3 attacking icons isn't acceptable if the defense isn't that great. Which it isn't, since it only blocks 6 icons. Compare this with the Winged Scarab, Scarab Ring, and Amulet of Altador.

Bonus (0/1): Pity it doesn't work on the Neggbreaker anymore.

Closing remarks: Get a Scarab Ring for best results. Alternatively, get a cheap 9-iconer such as a Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer.
