Price/Power (2/5)
Once per battle bombs are a strange beast- in theory they should provide a more cost effective option to the single use bomb, but in practice very few live up to their roll. What is more, with the massive reduction in price for single use items, the Honey Potion AND the many multiuse items out there which are doing progressively more and more icons there is very little purpose in this.

Countermeasures (0/5)
Physical is a common icon type to block, then you run into an Altadorian Swordbreaker and bam, it is all over. Single use bombs require a little extra omph or a little extra bulk to get past spread shields and this has neither.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
Likely right now if you want a bomb you'd be best just getting the Honey Potion. It has a higher less easy to block attack spread that has less variation in the attack itself. The price has dropped of late by far due to the influx of R99s during charity corner causing more people to do quests. It may not be as cheap a this, however, realistically you could also get a decent multiuse fairly cheap which would do more than this in just two turns.

This item is not the answer to your wartime blues

Price/power (4/5): This has the potential to a lot of damage for a cheap price.

Tactical (1/5): The risk that you have to take every time you use this bomb is simply impractical. If you're unlucky, you're essentially wasting a slot. It's also essential that you freeze or otherwise disable your opponent's defense first--if you don't, your attack may be crippled by something like a Scarab Ring. On top of all this, the mean number of icons simply isn't that high.

Bonus (0/1): Bombs aren't necessarily viable at this level, especially since you're not guaranteed to do more damage in this case even if you do freeze your opponent.

Closing remarks: You should really get a more reliable weapon. The Scroll of Ultranova immediately comes to mind.
