Price/Power (0/5)
Full water block- that is what you want here. Yes this item is very capable of blocking water entirely but at this price I don't see the point of recommending it.

Countermeasures (3/5)
Due to being single use, these are all about getting lucky with timing. If you manage to catch a big blast- all good- if not... it is wasted. See with an item such as this it really has to be cheap to be worth using because otherwise I have to dig a little deeper. The fact of the matter is that generally one turn blocks are more useful against single turn bomb items as they make them useless and used up. Here your major targets are things like the {{Dr Sloths Personal Bath Buddy}} and Kelpbeards Trident- things which can be used against you every single turn without fail. If this blocked a rare icon type like fire/air or an icon favored by a popular bomb such as Earth (Honey Potion or Ghostkerbomb) then perhaps I would give it more points.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
If you are a lower level player- just get yourself a much more versatile Downsize!. If you really want to use one of these potions, the Slippery Floor Potion is 100% better then this AND is cheaper. Otherwise just wait until you can get a full constant water blocker like a Enchanted Kiko Squeeze Toy or Faerie Tabard...

Final Thoughts
The art reminds me of simpler times.

Overview: A super weapon if it wasn't one-time-use, the Fire Jug is nice for beginners to grasp the power of a big shield or dual duty.

The Good: This is a good excuse to use a list. Let's break it down!
  • First, the price is pretty good. The First Jug is a faerie quest item so it won't ever hit the 1np mark, but 500-1,000np isn't bad.
  • Full water blocking. What more do you want? But wait, there's more
  • On top of all this, you get to hit your opponent with a 5-icon attack and have an extra two earth defense to boot.
Simply put, if the Fire Jug is timed right, it can tie a Kelpbeards Trident, and it'll beat the Trident if the opponent uses earth in another weapon. It also beats another hidden tower weapon, Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy, straight up. All that power is available for 700-ish neopoints per turn.

The Bad: One-time-use means that this weapon is better suited for beating one-player opponents, though at the moment, none of them use it. Plumbeard might be vulnerable enough to justify its use, but if you're at the level where you're fighting him, you might have stronger weapons to defend against his attacks (like Faerie Tabard).

The Ugly Truth: Timing is everything. Use this at the right time and you've got a 750np super weapon. Use it at the wrong time, and you've got a 5-icon attack that can be out-gunned by weapons that cost less than 10np. For all this I'll give it a 5, since it's somewhere in-between great and terrible.
